Skarbashz Submerzahbull

The shipping lanes around Da Deff Islands have long been rife with
pirates and danger. This was true even before the Ork spores came to
Ammoriss. Now however, they are more dangerous than ever. For
the last twenty years, the Orks have slowly built their own
underworld empire on Da Deff islands. Their leader, Warboss
Skarbash; was content to stay in the shadows

He was the top Ork in an
underworld web of criminals,
smugglers, pirates, and black
market traders. He, and his
rivals; controlled what went in
and out of Da Deff Islands. If
there was something you needed,
he and his network could provide
it. Even the well-to-do from
the Ammoriss mainland understood
and recognized his unique
abilities. They were not above
purchasing his services to
acquire rare items, harass
rivals, and other services best
left unspoken.
The Warbosses activities were of
little concern to the rulers of
Ammoriss. For the most part,
they were content to let Skarbash
and Da Deff Islands go beneath
their notice. For his part, the
Warboss was more than happy to
collect his loot, and keep his
criminal empire. Why fight,
when he could gather what he
wanted through trade. His
submarine pirate fleet was
unmatched by his rivals and his
swarm of Mob boats ruled Da
Shallows.
As a gift, his Mekz built
Skarbash a particularly mighty
and powerful Submerzahbull. It
became the Warbosses flagship,
his premiere pirate craft. With
it, his legend upon the
archipelago amongst the orks
only grew. The Syndicate could
not hope to match it.
The Battle for Ammoriss broke
across the planet. However,
little changed on Da Deff
islands. The orks were excited
by the build-up of Waaagh!
Energy, but most of their
attacks were directed at
Imperial shipping. Skarbash
personally led a few large raids
from the bridge of his
Submerzahbull. His boyz
nicknamed the ship, Da Horned
Deff after its distinctive
Deathskull clan totem and horned
ram.
After the Battle for Ammoriss,
Warboss Skarbash concerned
himself with keeping Admiral
Travers and his TaskForce: Force
of Arms from successfully
blockading Da Deff Islands.
The Warboss knew that if his
access to the sea were cut off,
his criminal empire; and the
citizens it preyed upon; would
not survive. Therefore, Da
Horned Deff took to the sea once
more.
The legend of Da Horned Deff
began to spread across Greater
Ammoriss. Merchant sailors
began to whisper of it in hushed
tones, as if saying its name
would invoke it. From there, Ork
pirates would hear the story from
captured human merchant sailors.
As word spread, soon Ork
remanants from the Battle for
Ammoriss were using the legend of
Da Horned Deff as a rallying
cry. It was a focal point as
they began to stream into Da
Deff Islands to join Warboss
Skarbash and his Waaagh!
The only problem was, Skarbash
wasnt interested in a Waaagh!
All he wanted was as much loot as
he could get his hands on.
Events quickly spiraled out of
control. Before he knew it,
Warboss Skarbash and Da Horned
Deff had become the new symbol
of Orky Waaagh! Power on
Ammoriss.
As Operation: Hemlock approaches
the planners of NavComm North
expect to encounter Da Horned
Deff in battle yet again. This
time, they have vowed to send her
to the bottom, no matter the
cost.
