Minesniper Neutron, integrated with the SAAB Double Eagle SAROV mine
hunting ROV, offers a complete hunt and neutralization suite.
The system is containerized and prepared for expeditionary operations, including
an ROV for hunting and classifcation and expendable one-shot ROVs for neutrali-
zation.
This introduces a swift and fexible MCM suite meeting current and future
requirements for effcient mine warfare operations.

Minesniper Neutron
KONGSBERG has, through the launch of the Minesniper system, introduced an
effcient and safe way of mine disposal. Minesniper Neutron is a smaller version
of Minesniper with optimized sensor package, speed and endurance capabilities,
keeping the same unchallenged destruction capability.

Minesniper Neutron is a low weight, low cost disposal vehicle for rapid and ef-
fcient mine verifcation and destruction. It is optimized for being delivered in
the vicinity of the mine by a mine hunting ROV, and is capable of approaching
the mine and maintain its position until the delivery vehicle has moved to a safe
distance before destruction is initiated.

Effcient and safe - low cost mine disposal system that provides both
reduced trough-life-support cost and reduced operational risk.
Effective - conquer all types of mines in shallow/deep waters. Minesniper is
qualifed for 300m depth and can carry various types of charges.
Fast - Minesniper can achieve mine disposal in minutes. Rapid launching from
the Double Eagle ROV and fully automatic guidance and station keeping at the
target.
Low weight - designed with focus on easy handling and compact stowage, and
can be carried by one person.
Quick reload - when onboard the vessel the process of reloading the Double
Eagle ROV with new Minesnipers is a quick and simple task.
Well proven - successfully feld proven. The Minesniper is in service and has
demonstrated its operational advantages.
