Reputation/Relationships:
2 I desire close friends, wonderful acquaintances, and Betsy Bartholf. The friends that I
have in college will not hinder my success, but they will all be there for me in unique, special
ways. I will not be in a fraternity. I will uphold a Christ-Like demeanor, but I will not be perfect.
I will not push my faith onto anyone.

6 Six years from now I will have furthered my relationship with my partner and will
continue to build relationships with others in Christ. I will regularly visit family, and I will
network within my career. I will have found a permanent church to attend with Betsy, and I will
develop a lifelong accountability partnerperhaps a respected adult male that I befriended
during my teenage years and chose to reconnect with. As a young adult, this will be entirely
appropriate and beneficial to me. I have one person in mind: Shane Morgan. I will travel or will
have traveled by this point in time to another country or to other countries, which will allow
meperhapsthe opportunity to develop friendships with people originating from completely
different cultures.

10 I will be married to my partner at this point. I will attend Class of 2015s ten year class
reunion with a ring on Betsy. This will not be taken lightly, for lifelong companionship is a very
serious thing. I will quench any remaining desires to travel and to meet people from other
cultures during this time. I will regularly fellowship with other tennis players on the courts.

20 I will have wonderful children with my spouse, and the word divorce will not be
spoken in our household. I will fight with everything in my power to uphold this standard:
divorce will never be an option. I will have developed very stable relationships with other
families, including the families of my sibling or my cousins. My family will not relocate our
home excessively, so my children will have an opportunity to develop consistent, multi-year
relationships throughout their youth. I will have strong work-related relationships with people in
the Science and Engineering field. People are valuable resources; I will cherish my human
connections not only for the purpose of simple friendship. I will not use people, and I will remain
compassionateloving others in Christ. I wish to have a powerful presence in my field. A
reputation can go a long way. I will value the time that I have with my parents, for it is likely that
the two of them may not live more than two-thirds of the average lifespan for a twenty-first
century human.

50 In fifty years, I will be peacefully retired. I will share my wisdom with everyone
including my grandchildren. I will teach them how to play tennis and invest into them with love
and knowledge. My later years of life will be well spent with my spouse. I will fulfill my dream
of becoming a full-time storyteller. The extent of my reputation will be this: an old man who
wears a fedora, a Hawaiian shirt, a pair of shorts, and a pair of very comfortable shoes. I will be a
man who plays guitar, defeats young people at tennis, and goofily speaks to anyone he can about
whatever he is passionate about. I will live for Christ always.

Service and Spirituality:
2 I will continue my walk with Christ, and I will be involved at my college campus in a
Christian club. I will also lead a student ministry as a college studentsharing the love that
Christ has shared with me. Sharing Gods word is my form of worship. I will continue to journal
and to evaluate the world. I will be faithful in prayer.

6 By this time, I will have communed with nature on a remarkable scale. If it is in my
power and my budget, I will hike the Appalachian Trail with a partner. This endeavor will help
me connect with God and His creation intimately. I will continue to lead worship with the Word
of God and with my guitar.

10 I will become the leader of what my church likes to call a Life Group. I will open up
my home to a group of adults and lead themand lead myselftoward the greater calling that
God has placed for us. We will meet once a week in order to fellowship, to learn, and to address
our deep spiritual needs. Some of our meetings will be in a personal setting around a campfire.
We will become unified in Christ on a very strong level.

20 I will continue to serve others in Christ. I want to be in a place where true revival occurs,
and I want to develop an extremely deep understanding of the Word. I want to continue to live
my lifein the home and outside of the homeas Christ-Like as possible. I will not push my
faith onto anyone who does not want to receive it.

50 I will be a devout servant for Christ, even at an old age. I will practice meditation
discovering my inner self by visiting a waterfall in my mind and breathing very controlled
breathsvery frequently and will be a faithful prayer warrior. I will spend much of this time
writing down wisdom that I have acquired for my grandchildren to one day read when they get
older. I will continue to share my spiritual insights. This will be a time of reflection.

Hobbies/Money/Careers:
2 Much of my time and money will be invested into college at this point in time. If all goes
as planned, I will be attending Georgia Tech. I will major in Aerospace Engineering and will do
the co-op program during my sophomore or my junior year, earning a full-time salary as an
engineer for three semesters with a signed competitive company. It will take me five years to
graduate with this program. I will not be permanently committed to this company, and the work
experience will be of great value to me when I begin my actual career. My diploma will have a
valuable co-op seal on it. I may work part time in college. There are work program opportunities
available.

6 I will have graduated with a 3.8 or higher and will then attend graduate school, unless
money becomes too much of an obstacle. I will continue to play tennis and guitar. I will invest
any money that I earn into a house, my future marriage, and into a suitable car that tends to my
lifestyleperhaps a Nissan Altima. I will also invest into the hobby of computers, just as I have
done in my teenage-hood. I will have a top-of-the-line desktop computer assembled entirely by
yours truly. I will have triple monitors, 3-D gaming with surround sound, and a powerful headset.
This will become a part of my very cool home office, which I will actually use for personal study
when I am not immersed into the digital world. This technological setup alone can cost anywhere
from two to five grand. This luxury will not become a priority over important necessities. I may
also begin a well-developed YouTube channel.

10 I will tithe. I intend to tithe as much as I can throughout my entire life. I will support a
family at this point, for I will be married and possibly a father. I will have enough money to
cover my childrens expenses with comfort. I want my children to have the opportunity I will
continue to play tennis and will continue to be an Aerospace Engineer. I may one day strive for a
PhD.

20 I will become a leader in my field, whether known or unknown. I will invest into family
as much as I can. I intend to make enough money and to live in an area that has superb schools
for my children to attend. I will strive for good insurance and will pay my taxes. I will invest in
my childrens college education as early and as gradually as possible. I will be involved in my
childrens lives at a great capacity. Perhaps my family will be involved in boy scouts. I may have
my children take chess lessons. I will go on vacation when I can. I may be involved in a
community theater. Ultimately, I may have to sacrifice some of my hobbies during different
stages in my life.

60 I will have assured that I saved enough money for retirement. For my entire career, I will
put ten percent of my annual salary to the church and ten percent into savingsif reality does
not hinder these intentions. I will retire wherever my wife and I choose to be. I will smile and
cherish every moment. I do not want money to be an obstacle at this point in my life. I want to be
able to go on vacation with my wife wherever we desire to go. I want to live in a nice home near
family. I would love to live in a place with many acres that is surrounded by woodswoods
similar to that of North Georgia. I will be done with city life at this point. I may use some extra
money to build a treehouse for a grandchild. I intend to be in great physical condition at this age.

Mental, Emotional, and Physical Health:
2 I will manage stress well. I will develop a great support system at the university that I
attend, and I will maintain physical health through regular exercise and a good diet. I will not be
sexually active until marriage. I will be very active in campus life.

6 If I am married, I will maintain a healthy sexual relationship with my wife. I will
meditate and pray frequently. I will journal, for intentional reflection is a powerful tool in
maintaining sanity. Tennis will always be a form of physical exercise that can also strengthen my
mental endurance. I will find renewal in social environments or new environments that will help
me emotionally. I may find value in a simple waterfall or the wind blowing the leaves on a tree.
God is good.

10 I will cherish music and will continue to play tennis. I may frequently attend concerts
orchestral or contemporary. I will read books and continually challenge my brain. Chess is a very
special hobby to me also, and I will continue to practice chess throughout my lifeeven if I
must play algebraically with people using long-distance, written communication. I will also
attend many theater productions each year with my wife. I will be very good at gift-giving and
going on dates with my wife, for I have always been a sentimental romantic. These things will
provide enjoyment and good health in my life. My wife will help me watch what I eat, for I
predict that good eating habits will be a struggle for me in the future.

20 I will be a role model for my kids. I will maintain a good balance in my life, and I will
not allow myself to get too overwhelmed. God and then my family will be the priorities of my
heart. I will continue to play tennishopefully with my wife. Love will continue to strengthen
my health.
I will be a role model for my children.
The priorities of my heart will never fade.
50 I will reflect and tell stories. I will play tennisprimarily doublesin my community
with other senior citizens. I will continue to write, to play chess, and to exercise. My wife will be
so lovely. These things will strengthen my health. I will attend the doctor and the dentist
regularly, just as I will have done my entire life.

Education:
2 I will be attending Georgia Tech. I will sit in the front of the classroom for every lecture,
and I will be invested fully into my education. I will live on campus and be very involved in
campus life. I will join clubs that I find enjoyment in. I will not be in a fraternity.

6 I will have graduated with a 3.8 or higher GPA with an aerospace engineering degree. I
may enter graduate school.

10 I will continue to obtain education in my daily life with a thirst for learning. I will read
many books. I may obtain a doctorates degree.

20 I may begin teaching at a professorial level if I am not in the work force as an Aerospace
Engineer. I will also attend many conferences that will teach me about the developments within
my field. I will strengthen my brain.

50 I will learn from my grandchildren. I will keep up to date with technology the best that I
can as a senile person. I will learn simple things from animals and nature.

Life Lessons:
2 Do not stress too much. Life is to be enjoyed, and it is important to cherish all of the
beautiful things. I will teach people this through my actions and in my passion when having
conversations with others. I will also share with people that dreams are never unreachable. There
is no problem that cannot be solved. Isolation from the world is not to be frowned upon. I will
pray in the closet of my dormitory.

6 I want to teach others that good leadership encompasses good listening skills. I want to be
selfless and humble, and I want to teach others what love really iseven if I do not understand it
myself.

10 There is power in what someone is passionate about. People are unified by their interests.
Music and beautiful sounds are my favorite forms of worship. I will use my hobbies to connect
with others.

20 It is important to cherish others, and communication is vital in all relationships. A
mentor from church told me that a man does not own anything in this world except for his word:
If he doesnt have his word, then he has nothing. I will teach this life lesson by being a good
husband and father.

60 It is important to cherish the little things. I want to find happiness and inspiration in
places that no one would expect during this time of my life. Life is short, and I want to squeeze
every piece of goodness and joy out of it while I can. I want my heart to be at peace and for my
laugh to be lighthearted. I will teach my grandchildren what it means to have joy. I will teach my
children to simply climb trees.
