Preface
Attentions:
Welcome to use our network video recorder. For your secure using, please read
this user manual carefully. The following contents are about the proper use of the
product, the prevention of danger and loss of property etc. Please be sure to
abide.
1. Installation Environment:
Please place and use this product in the environment with temperature 0-
0!
The device should be placed hori"ontally when it is being installed and
used, avoid lean or inversion!
#o not place or install it in the high temperature, wet, dusty and sooty
places.
$eep the device away from water drop or plash. #on%t put any ob&ect with
li'uid inside like flower vase or any other ob&ect on the device.
To ensure the normal heat dissipation of the device, there is a fan installed
inside the device. The device should be installed in well-ventilated
environment!
The back of the #() should be away from other devices or the wall above
*cm in order to release heat!
+f the device is used in the regions with much thunder, please install
lightning protection device to avoid host or hardware breakdown by
lightning stroke.
2. Attentions:
#o not touch the power switch and the ,() by wet hands or wet ob&ects, in
order to avoid electric shock!
-fter installing the host, please make sure that the host and the chassis are
connected to the ground in order to avoid video and audio signal
interference and damaged by static electricity!
.nsure the voltage stability of the power supply of the ,(). /se the power
input with stable voltage value and little wave interference rather than
shutdown the ,() by disconnecting the main switch directly!

#o not drop any li'uid or metal on the ,() in case short circuit inside or
fire!
The device does not include any hard disk, and you need to properly install
the hard disk before using it, otherwise, you cannot record and playback the
video!
The dust on the mainboard will cause short circuit when it is damp. +n order
to ensure the long-term normal working, you should regularly dedust the
mainboard, connectors, chassis, fan and so on by a brush!
#o not disconnect the power switch directly when you want to shutdown the
,(). 1ou should use the shutdown button on the panel in order to avoid
damage to the hard disk!
The device system supports 2## format function. +f the 2## has been
used, please take note that if it is with F-T 34 format. This ,() only
supports 2## with F-T 34 format!
#o not open the device when it is connected with electricity!
To ensure the integrity of the recording data, please replace the hard disk
when it is damaged 5there is disk error record in the log information6.

Chapter 1: Product Instruction
1.1 Product Summary
This device is a video coding and recording product specially designed for the
video monitoring field, combining with 2.4*B video compression, large capacity
2## storage, T8P@+P network, embedded =inu7 operating system and other
various advanced electronic information technologies, reali"ing high-'uality
image and low bit rate recording features and favourable system stability.
The device meets the standard of >E 40A9-400* H(ideo <ecurity <urveillance
#igital (ideo #eviceI issued by the government. This device has functions
including recording, playback and monitoring simultaneously, reali"ing
synchronous video and audio, with advanced control technology and powerful
network data transmission ability.

Chapter 2: Installation Instruction
2.1 "pen#case Inspection
When you receive the product, please check all the things according to the ,()
packing list in the bo7.
2.2 $%% Installation
+nstallation Preparation:
,eed one cross screwdriver. This series of 2## ,() can install 4 to A pieces of
2## inside, and the capacity of each 2## can be up to 4TE.
2## +nstallation <teps:
Twist off the screws on the side panel of the case and then open the cover of
the chassis.
Fi7 the 2## on the 2## screw whole sites of the baseboard with screws.
8onnect the 2## data cable and power cable.

Chapter 3: &ocal "peration 'uide
3.1 Start(Shutdo)n System
3.1.1 Start System
Plug power cable, press power switch, the power led will be on and the ,() will
start. -fter booting, the video output default to multi-window output mode. +f the
booting time is within the record setting time period, the system will auto enable
the record function.
Notice: Please use the ,() matching power supply instead of any other power
supply of any other type or brand.
3.1.2 Shutdo)n System
8lick J click <hutdown. 5,ote: this method is suggested when

shutdown device in order to avoid damage to the device from electricity cut-
off by accident6.
=ong press the power key on the front panel can shutdown the system5the
user should have shutdown authority6
Notice: Eefore changing the 2## operation, you should shutdown the device
and cut the power supply first and then operate.
3.1.3 Po)er !ailure *ecovery
When the ,() is under the recording status, if the system power is cut off or the
device is shut down forcefully, after reconnected with the power supply, the ,()
will auto-save the video before cutting and auto-recover to the previous status
and continue to work.
3.2 System &o+in
-fter normal booting, single-click or press the ;$ key on the remote control
to pop-up the login dialog bo7, user input the user name: admin and password
blank5default to be blank6 in the input bo7.

3.3.1 Start Setup
8lick , and the interface will display:

3.3.2 $o) to connect N,* )ith IP Camera
At first- set IP camera parameter:
This device supports multi-version ;nvif protocols, compatible with main
brand +P cameras. Take below brands as e7ample:
Eefore connect the +P camera with ,(), please make sure that the +P addresses
of the +P camera and the ,() are in a same network section, and the main
stream and sub stream are ad&usted to be the suggested values 5main stream:
40BAk, sub stream: 94k6, otherwise, these problems may appear: the ,()
cannot search the +P camera, the image cannot be connected, the image is not
fluent, the image 'uality is bad and so on.
8onnect the ,() with the network cable, and the switch in the =-,. -fter
booting, click and enter the system configure interface to set the network
parameters including the +P address, subnet mask, network gateway of the ,().
/ser can run the command ping through the P8 in the =-, to ping the +P of the
,() to see if the ,() has connected with the =-,.

Notice: +P address might conflict with each other, please set the gateway
correctly, or ,() might fail to work. Please ensure all the +P addresses in =-,
are uni'ue.

Then click the right mouse button and appear the below menu:
%evice port settin+: the default is 00, if there are several ,()s in the =-,,
need to change this port is for login ,() by +., 80<. =ogin ,() by mobile, the
port should be M3 based on the device port.
2TTP port: the default port is A0, suggest modifying it. This port is for login ,()
by +., input ,() +P address or domain name! need to add colon and 2TTP port
number.
E.ample: show as the above picture, access ,() by +. in =-,, first add 4
forwarding rules in the router, the +P address is 9F4.9*A.9.90A, the forwarding
ports are 00-03, A0. Please input http://192.168.1.108:80 at +. browser and
download -ctiveG, then close the +. before install the -ctiveG, after installing it
successfully, then reopen +. with http://192.168.1.108:80, it will show login menu,
input device port:00, user name: admin, no password, can access ,().

+f the +P camera has private protocol with ,(), ,() will assign +P address to the
camera automatically, after finish the searching, will connect the image
automatically. 8amera +P addresses will be added automatically in the preview
channel area.
Finish adding +P camera and click Save, then the image of the +P camera will
appear in the channel.
Eelow are some main functions of the ,():
The menu consists of display setting, PTC, setting, playback, record, alarm,
capture and file manager etc.
The device enters the real-time monitoring screen after normal booting. There
are superposed date, time, and channel name of every channel. +cons of record,

3.3.3 Previe)

The preview image location can be drag and drop to different place as
necessary, but the channel physical address will keep the same5-TT,: channel
number in red circle as below6
Preview image can randomly drag to ad&ust according to actual management
re'uirement, which makes surveillance management more systematic and
friendly.
3.3.3.2 %ra+ to Chan+e Channel

preview channel position of +P8 image.<imple image dragging
could not meet the need of multi-channel simultaneous playback
and it%s frustrating to match channel position respectively
when searching. #ragging channel se'uence can better solve this problem.
)ight 0ouse to click +P channel setting, choosedrag to change channel
se'uence .
;peration is same as *.3.9. -fter dragging channel se'uence, users are
unnecessary to fill in username, password and +P8 will reconnect in its new
channel position. When dragging, 4 channels e7changed would lose image for a
short while till reconnection. Time for reconnection depends on different +P8,
which costs about 9 to *0 second.
3.3.3.3 %i+ital 3oomin+
#uring image preview and playback, roll mouse

Eefore starting the PTC control, please firstly confirm the PTC parameter
settings, PTC protocol and the correct connection of the BA control line etc.
-fter setting the parameters, select the channel which you want to control in the
preview interface, then control the left-handed rotation, right-handed rotation, up
regulation, down regulation of the lens! "oom in and "oom out of the focal length!
"oom in and "oom out of the focal point! "oom in and "oom out of the iris! setting
of the PTC speed.

3.3.4.2 P53 Settin+
96 Preset setting: first turn the camera to the needed position through the
direction buttons of the PTC control, then select a preset number, and click
H<ettingsI button. HPresetI call: select a preset number which needs to be
called, and click H8allI button.
