LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

As the Head of the Dept. Of ECE,GITAM University, I have known Mr Mutyala Sai Kiran for the last three
years. It gives me immense pleasure to recommend him to the graduate program at your university. In
terms of logical problem solving abilities, leadership skills and social service, I would rate Sai Kiran to be
among the top 15% in the department. I have found him to be attentive and industrious.

His remarkable grip on fundamentals and his ability to analyse and solve problems are praiseworthy. In his
pre final and final year of UG course work, he took part in three National Level Fests, within the state and
outside the state which were held at different universities. He organized one Symposium in our college in
the rank of a student coordinator. He also played a pivotal role in coordinating and organising the 3
rd

convocation at our university. He has also participated in Microsoft App Fest held at Gayatri Vidya
Parishad. This approach of participating in the technical events indirectly shows his interest towards
research and his love for the subject.

He successfully completed his summer industrial training on ARPA Navigational Radars at Visakhapatnam
Port Trust, which was followed by an excellent seminar on his learnings, which he delivered. He is also his
team lead in the ongoing final year project. His extra-curricular involvement is quite interesting. He is the
local youth leader and he actively participates in creating awareness about voter enrolment and voting. He
also has setup a teaching institute where science and mathematics are taught to students preparing for
entrance examinations. He is a part time teacher at his institute and he teaches with passion. He is also an
active IETE, ISTE and NSS member.

His personal charm, excellent etiquette and soft-skills have endeared him equally well to the faculty an as
well as his student friends. I think these inter-personal skills are equally important as are the academic
abilities. Considering his research aptitude and intellectual capabilities, I strongly feel that he is a worthy
candidate for the Graduate program at your esteemed institution.

I am sure that given an opportunity he will prove to be an asset to your institution. Therefore I would like
