Company Overview
R. G. Barameda Store, formerly owned by Mr. Dante Payte and named Boss Oman Trading, as
acquired by Mrs. Rosemarie P. Peraman and named after her husband to have a unique business name. It
is located at Bonifacio St., Pobalcion, tigaon, Camarines Sur where is caters the basic need of the
Tigaoeos.
Mrs. Peraman took over the business operation at the date of acquisition. However, the former
owner, personally assists her in managing the business for almost a month which served as her training.
Within a year of operation, the business entity gain its own goodwill and customers because of
satisfactory managing of its operation by the owner.
Nature of the Business
R. G. Barameda Store is a merchandising business entity under sole proprietorship type of
business. It has two product line namely: grocery and drug selling. The grocery store offers basic
commodities, such as rice, noodles, canned goods, crackers, milks, coffees, etc. the drug store provides
basic medicines such as anti-acids, anti-analgesics, drugs for colds and coughs and it also sells personal
hygiene products, cologne, toothpaste, shampoo, soap and others. It competes with the existing big
grocery stores such as Dane Natalia, Supermart, Elyongs Grocery, Bicol Commercial and Prime
Supermart in providing whole sale services to micro-scale services to micro-small businesses in Tigaon
and Sagay. Nevertheless, the business operations mainly concentrates in retailing businesssari-sari
store.

Duties and Responsibilities
Business Owner/Manager she manages the overall operation of the business. She receives the
daily cash remittance of the cashier and made the deposit in the following day. The business
owner/manager signs the check payable to its creditors and suppliers. She is the one who approves the
credit sales and purchases to be made.
Assistant Manager it is the one who assists the business owner/ manager in handling
operations. She is the one responsible in hiring and staffing of the employees. She performs the task of
the manager in case of the absence of the latter except for signing the checks payable to supplier and
creditors. Assistant manager is responsible in the payroll of employees.
Store Supervisor the one who monitors and supervises the lower-level employees
performances. He/she is the one responsible for purchasing the inventory.
Cashier he/she has the custody of cash upon receipt from the cash sales transactions with
customers.
Store Watchers he/she is the one assisting the customers in picking goods. He/she is
responsible on the inventory display on his/her designated area/product line.
All employees perform other duties may be assigned by the manager or assistant manager.
