Brief Biography

Karen has been engaged in corporate and non-profit business for over 25 years and subscribes to a
collaborative approach of enabling her clients to meet their growth and profit potential. She
integrates both the science and art of business into her practice as evidenced by her innovative
approach which embraces the learnings of neuroscience and the principles of organization and
individual change management and executive coaching.

She has worked in the sales and marketing field as well as the Net Promoter research industry with
the goal of improving performance of client organizations through research, learning, incentives, and
loyalty programs. Karen feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with a variety of Fortune
500 clients, both B2B and B2C, selling and developing learning programs and organization
development initiatives that enable employees, channel partners, and customers to meet their goals.
Her experience spans both corporate and non-profit businesses and includes associations, religious
organizations, and a number of industries from automotive, tech/telco, financial, hospitality, and
retail. She is currently leveraging her professional background as well the new science around
positive intelligence to focus on helping individuals and teams in both non-profit and corporate
organizations. Her tag line is Work well., and her work includes assessment and development of a
culture of well-being and resilience that will bounce forward to realize its potential, creating an
organization that is sustainable for the future. She is a practitioner of the Happiness at Work survey
and its approach to the business benefits of well-being and thriving in the workplace.

development.

Karen graduated with her Masters degree from The Milano School of International Affairs,
Management, and Urban Policy at The New School in Manhattan in Organization Change
Management and received the Outstanding Student Award in her major. In addition, she received a
Certificate in Leadership and Change from The New School, and she continues to be actively involved
with the university as an alumni. She has also completed a B.A. at Michigan State University in the
College of Business, studied at Institute dEtudes Franaises de Touraine in France, and received her
Certificate in Instructional Design from Michigan State University.

Outside interests include participation in triathlon and open-water endurance events, and
community and civic involvement including fundraising, disaster relief volunteer, and community
organization consulting.

Her consulting practice is Noble Concepts Inc. and is located in Greater New York City.
