• European Honours Programme, (RISD), Rome, Italy, 2007-2008 : Selected to
participate in the EHP which “offers qualified RISD students an academic setting that allows
direct experience with the great works of art and architecture of Rome”. The programme is based
on independent studio work and intense art history and Italian courses.
• Flora and Fauna, Mayan Culture, Cuernavaca, Morelas, Mexico, January- March 2007
-Printmaking travel studio exploring Nature and Contemporary Art of Mexico.
-Travelling Anthropology course concentrating on the cultural history of Mexico, particularly
investigating that of the Mayan culture.

FOUNDATION FOR CONTEMPORARY ART, Accra, Ghana, September-December 2009
Volunteer
• Organized and taught ‘Tapped Talents’ mentorship programme, a twice weekly art class at Osu
Children’s Home and secured funding to extend the programme to Busua, a poor beach side village.
Aided in the organization of ‘Art in Open Spaces’ a one day event aimed at exposing the Ghanaian
community to contemporary art. Responsible for organizing fundraising for a variety of events and the
yearly cost of running the office. Additionally aided with day to day administrative tasks and writing
profiles for the FCA artists to be uploaded onto the website.

• Accommodated visitors to the gallery. Aided in the installation of exhibitions.
Organized the delivery of artworks, updated the website.

• RISD Student Gallery Board Fall 2008 – Spring 2009. Selected to participate as
a member of the Student Gallery Board. The board is responsible for overseeing the two student
run galleries on campus, which allow for RISD students to exhibit in a student managed gallery
space. Responsibilities involve finding appropriate work for exhibitions, advertising upcoming
exhibitions, curating and providing financial and structural support for the artists.
