little bit about you and how to contact you. All parts of this application must be completed legibly (please print clearly.) Incomplete
forms will not be considered. If there is an opening for the position for which you are applying, or that matches your skill set you will be
contacted to attend an orientation and training. Volunteers will be placed according to their skill/ability matching current needs.
Applications will be kept on file for 6 months.

Volunteer Commitment :
All Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or companied by a parent/guardian while preforming
volunteer services. Please review the following criteria. If you meet and agree to the requirements please sign below and submit application for review.
1. Volunteers must agree to a minimum of 5 hours a month.
2. As a volunteers, I will attend orientation, training and continued education programs.
3. As a volunteers, I will be dependable, reliable and professional while representing the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center.
4. As a volunteer I understand if I miss (3) scheduled shifts, events, commitments or project deadlines that I will be removed from the active
volunteer list and will have to wait 6 months to reapply for a volunteer position.
5. Volunteers agree that they may be required to submit to a background check.

Volunteer Liabi lity Release:
By signing this application you (and your parent/guardian if you are under 18 years of age) are indicating that the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation
Center, Inc., assumes no responsibility for any injury suffered by you as a result of your volunteer work either on or off the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle
Conservation Center premises, and if you are accepted into the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center Volunteer program, neither you, nor your
parent/guardian, nor heirs, administrators, executors, and assigns shall ever institute any action at law or otherwise against the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle
Conservation Center as a result of any injury to you or your property resulting from your volunteer services, and you and your parent/guardian, for
yourselves and your heirs administrators, executors, and assigns HEREBY RELEASE THE NAVARRE BEACH SEA TURTLE
CONSERVATION CENTER, its Board of Directors, Officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims for personal injury to you or
loss or damage to your property arising out of your activities undertaken as a volunteer. I understand that I am not an employee of the organization and
not covered by workers compensation insurance or other benefits. I understand the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center may run a background
legal check on me since I will or may be in contact with minors.

Volunteer Image Release:
If selected as a volunteer for the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation I understand that I may be in the position that my photographic image or
likeness whether recognizable or not may be recorded on film or video and used for marketing or public relation purposes to include but not limited to
the use on Facebook, social media sites, website, newsletter, brochures, promotional/marketing items or other such materials. I hereby waive any right that
I may have to inspect or approve any such photographic images and comments or completed products which incorporate all or part of any such
photographic images and comments.
I hereby voluntarily release and hold harmless the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center from any and all liability arising out of or in any way
related to the use of such photographic images and comments, including but not limited to any liability arising by virtue of any blurring, distortion,
alteration, illusion, editing, or use in composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur in the making or processing of the finished product.

Criminal History
An applicant found to have been convicted of, or having charges pending for a felony or misdemeanor involving a sex offense, child abuse or neglect, or
related acts that would pose risks to children or the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center programs credibility will not be accepted as a Navarre
Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center volunteer. Applicants with other misdemeanor or felony charges or convictions that would not pose a risk to
children or negatively impact the credibility of the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center program will be considered on a case by case basis
considering the time passed since the incident and the level of rehabilitation.
