MARKETI NG STRATEGY

D Link seems to still be setting a cloud services strategy, and will
consider which services to focus on for both public and private cloud
environments. The D Link labs are busy with cloud computing research
initiatives on offerings associated with advisory, deployment services, and
cloud-enabled services for the SMB market. Over the next year, D Link will
pilot projects in all three areas of cloud offerings (IaaS, platform-as-a-service
[PaaS], and SaaS). The firm is also monitoring cloud services startup firms and
assessing potential partners. D Link is planning on faster cloud services growth
than its more traditional services. D Link said it has many of the fundamental
technology components for cloud services in place now, and it is investing
heavily in cloud service offerings and capabilities. D Link contends that it has a
pipeline of clients interested in taking advantage of current and near-term
offerings, and the firm is assessing SaaS model options for many of the
industry solutions its planning to build over the next 18 to 24 months. Some
specific cloud services that D Link is planning include digital asset
management, ADM services on Microsoft Azure, and several IaaS options
(storage, backup, disaster recovery, and compute as services). D Link has cloud
service partnerships with firms like Amazon, Cisco EMC, Microsoft,
salesforce.com, and VMware. In a marketing alliance, D Link and the alliance
partner jointly deliver business solutions which leverage D Link' industry,
functional and technical expertise, D Link' Global Delivery Model and the
alliance partner's technology and services.

WHAT DID I LEARN?

D LINK PVT. LTD. | 29

My experience of making a Product Profile is wonderful
because it gives me a lot of valuable & knowledgeable information.
After preparing a product profile I come to know that what researches
should be conduct before launching any product in the market. For
promoting the sales of any product it is necessary to fulfill the
expectations of the consumers related to a particular product and this
profile helps me to know how to target the customer or how to reach
the customer and how to satisfy them.
It is necessary for every company to expand the market of their
product for surviving in a market and for expanding the market
Positioning of the market is very necessary. This profile also helps
me in the same.
In this way I can easily say that product Profile is really a
wonderful experience for me.

HOW IT IS RELEVANT TO MY APPROACH TO
BECOME A MANAGER

Deep marketing knowledge should be in a manager. Each and
every aspect of marketing should be clear to manager. A manager is
as important as back bone is important for body. Without backbone a
human being cannot stand these things also apply in marketing field.
A company cannot stand without manager. Whatever I learnt and
knew to make a company profile it gives huge knowledge about
manager and managers role in the company, What is team work how
control the whole organization how relationship is important with sub
ordinate how to take work from colleagues. Lot of things I learnt from
the company profile which will help me to become a manager. It is
nice experience to know the all things which is directly company and
I am sure that it will help me to become a good manager.

D LINK PVT. LTD. | 31

CONCLUSION

Everything in this world is made to utilize properly but it should
be reach at the proper person or to the proper utilized areas. Otherwise
the value added to those things became in vein.
As there is a proverb that,
Far From Eye, Far From Heart
Thus marketing role play a very important role in achieving the
objectives of a company. Undoubtly, value utility is created by the
manufacture of product or service but time and place utilities are
created by marketing role. According to Drucker, both the market
and the distribution channels are often more crucial than the product.
They are primary: the product is secondary. In an economy like that
of India, where marginal shortages can lead to disproportation
distortion in prices, a dependable and efficient distribution system is
very much essential. The distribution system creates a value added to
all most all products.
