The Blue & White After Party - 2014 The purpose of this letter is to provide you with information in relation to the 2014 Blue & White After Party (the Party). Both Guardians or Parents and Guests should carefully read the information contained in this letter. Once you have read this letter, you will need to complete the enclosed Consent Form in order to be allowed to attend the Party. The Consent Form must be signed, dated and returned by the 9 th of September to 11 Edwin Tce Gilberton at 4:30 pm till 6 pm 1. Background
1.1. The Party will be held on the 26 th of September at 2/6 Waldaree Street, Gepps Cross, 5074 from approximately 11:30 pm to 3:30 am.
1.2. The Party will be organised by the following persons:
1.2.1. Cameron Gregg;
1.2.2. Luke Spajic
1.2.3. Morgan Ovenden, (the Hosts) 1.3. The Hosts may authorise any adult to assist with the supervision of the Party, and may authorise such persons to act in accordance with the terms set out in this letter.
1.4. Guests will arrive through transportation organised independently, where they will then be dropped off at the entrance before having ID checked upon entry (NO ID NO ENTRY).
1.5. Parents should organise transport for the Guests to and from the Party. Unless express, written permission is given by the Hosts, no Guest is to drive to or from the Party. Such permission should be sought a minimum of seven days before the Party.
1.6. Please note that the Party is a private event. The Party is not, and will not, be endorsed by any School.
2. Cover Charge
2.1. There is a $50 cover charge for the Party (the Cover Charge).
2.2. The Cover Charge applies to, but is not limited to, costs in relation to entertainment, security, venue hire and catering.
2.3. The Cover Charge does not cover any costs whatsoever in relation to the storage of or consumption of alcohol at the Party.
2.4. Payment should be done in cash with return of this form, failure to do so will result in rejection of this form and removal from the event list.
3. Attendance at the Party
3.1. The Hosts reserve the right to deny any Guest from entering the Party. The Hosts also reserve the right to remove any Guest from the Party at any point.
3.2. If the Hosts, or any persons authorised by the Hosts, elect to remove a Guest from the Party, the Hosts will be fully responsible for ensuring that the Guest is collected by their Guardian, Parent or Emergency Contact.
3.3. Any Guest found with any illegal substances will be immediately removed from the Party. The Hosts will then immediately refer the matter to the Police.
3.4. Guardians and Parents should take the time to remind Guests to behave appropriately at the Party.
4. Alcohol
4.1. Alcohol will not be supplied by the Hosts at the Party.
4.2. However, Guests are permitted to bring alcohol to the Party. The Hosts consider it highly likely that alcohol will be present at the Party.
4.3. If a Guest wishes to bring alcohol to the Party, the Guest must deliver their alcohol to 11 Edwin Tce Gilberton in a durable plastic bag (this is to insure bags dont rip and drinks are lost) on Friday 12 th of September. A unique ID bracelet identifying your drinks will be provided to Guests after the alcohol has been dropped off.
4.4. Any alcohol will be stored safely and individually by the Hosts. Once Guests arrive at the Party, Guests will be allowed, at the Hosts exclusive discretion, to consume the alcohol which they have brought to the Party.
4.5. The Hosts reserve the right to deny a Guest access to alcohol for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, intoxication.
4.6. Guests are not permitted to bring spirits to the Party. Examples of spirits include, but are not limited to, vodka, tequila, scotch and rum.
4.7. Guests may only bring alcohol in cans.
4.8. As noted in paragraph 2.3 of this letter, The Cover Charge does not cover any costs whatsoever in relation to the storage of or consumption of alcohol at the Party.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1. The Hosts will not be responsible for any loss arising whatsoever from, or in any way connected to, the Guests attendance at the Party.
5.2. The Hosts will not responsible for the Guests transport arrangements to the Party and from the Party, subject to paragraph 3 of this letter.
6. Conclusion
6.1. The Party should be a great opportunity for Guests to celebrate what will undoubtedly be a fantastic Blue and White. Accordingly, the Hosts will take every reasonable endeavour to ensure that Guests are provided a safe environment to celebrate in.
6.2. In the interests of avoiding gate crashers, the Hosts request that Guests keep the details of the Party on a need to know basis.
