1 skein #364 Mexicana (A)
1 skein #338 Nouveau (B)
1 skein #373 Black (C)
or colors of your choice
LION BRAND Size J /10 [6 mm] crochet hook OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
LION BRAND Large-Eyed Blunt Needle

GAUGE
12 sts = 4 [10 cm] in single crochet
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
Afghan is made from four separate squares
AFGHAN
Ch 19. Sc in 2
nd
ch from hook and in each ch across 18 sts. Row 1 Ch 1, turn, sc in each
sc across. Repeat Row 1 until piece measures 6. Fasten off.
ASSEMBLY
Sew together invisibly as per assembly

To join two pieces together, thread a large-
eyed blunt needle with B. Place the edges of
the squares side by side with the right sides
(the sides that people will see) FACING OUT.

From the right side, stitch up the sides as
shown, alternating one square to the other.
OUTSIDE BORDER:
Rnd 1 With RS facing, join C in any corner of
afghan, *work 3 sc in corner, sc evenly across
side to next corner, repeat from *, end with slip
st to join in top of first sc. Repeat last rnd 5
more times, fasten off.
Weave in ends.
