This design doesnt particularly represent anything, but it was alright and seemed interesting due

to the colours and shapes, and overall composition of the design. Although it is mainly made up of half
swirls it gives me a rough image of a fantastical butterfly. The blue is used in shades, so that the lighter
shades contrast the darker ones, while any other colours (such as orange and green) contrast even more.
The sizes of the various shapes are another point of contrast that adds interest. The proimity is not one of
the stronger points of the design. ! dont like the way the different shapes have been placed, they leave a
rather awkward, empty space in the centre, adding a negative point to the image. "owever the shapes do
blend into each other and give a nice of being related to one another. #y favourite part was that anyone
can interpret anything they want from this design because of how it doesnt seem to represent anything in
particular.

This logo was created for a music festival called -*ood .ife/. ! think that it is very fitting
for the event, and is creative in its simplicity. The colours that were used could have a nice effect.
"owever ! think that brighter colours would have given a better feel for the event and considering that
most music festivals have live, energetic music0 therefore most people associate live, bright colours
with them. 1ut while these colours are mellow, they fit together well and create an overall nice effect.
Another point that adds interest and conveys the music part of the logo is the little lines that go around
some letters (such as * and 2) and that go through some (such as ,). These lines tend to represent
vibrations, and music gives of vibrations. The proimity is well done since the words are almost
overlapping each other, showing that they are related. Another well done point was the alignment0
everything is in line and looks neat and organized, showing that this event is probably going to be
professional instead of a maybe a sketchy one. ,verall ! really liked this logo design.
This design was one that appealed to me and which ! thought had its uni3ue beauty. !t is
a one of a kind design, which is what makes it so interesting. The contrast in this image is one of
the strongest aspects, along with its use of pattern. The contrast of bright colours against the black
background is what catches the viewers eye. The use of pattern is evident with the swirls, which
dominate this design. ! really liked how smaller swirls were used to create the larger swirl that ends
up being the focal point of the image. ! also like how the parts of the image are cut off yet the focal
point ends up being the centre of the design. 2epth is created in this image with the way the
colours blend into each other. There isnt a specific colour scheme yet they seem to fit together so
the choice of colours is good. !n my opinion this image has a hypnotic effect and could be analysed
for hours on end due to the placement of the swirls.
This design was created for no particular reason, 4ust to epress the authors creativity. !
found this particularly interesting and eye catching due to how realistic the image looks even though
no real shapes were used. !nstead letters and colours were used to create the shapes. The proimity
between everything is very well done so that all the letters that are needed to form that one shape and
word and placed e3uidistance from each other. The colours that are used tell the audience what each
word is supposed to create and adds more depth to the letters and therefore the image. &ach word is
associated with the image that it is trying to create. Another point is the alignment, it is well done so
the words (and burger) appear to be well balanced and in line and therefore symmetry with each
other. The contrast with colours makes it appealing to the eye, and the contrast between font sizes
adds interest to image. "owever a sense of continuity is created due to font type, which never
changes. This is one of my favourite designs and in my opinion there is nothing to change in this
design.
! really liked this design for -eco/, which 4ust represents the general idea of being eco
friendly. ! like the monochromatic colour scheme that was used. Another great point is that there is so
much information to absorb, but the design is not cluttered in any way. All the pieces fit together,
therefore the alignment is great, since everything starts from the focal point (eco), and spreads out and
mainly goes toward the higher part of the page.
This design is another one of the random interesting ones. Although it wasnt one of my
favourites, it wasnt too bad. Two main points that ! disliked was the colour scheme and the
proimity of everything. +irstly the colour scheme is dull and painful to the eye. The brown is dull
and the green is too close to the dullness of the brown. "owever there are random spots of colour all
around the design which add a spark of interest. !n my opinion if these pinpoints of colour have been
made into a larger size or 3uantity it would have made a better design. The other point was the
proimity of the design and words. There is not enough room between these two and therefore it is
hard to tell one apart from the other. "owever ! liked the font style and how it blended into the actual
design, which was also well composed, to create a sense of continuity. $o this design has its pros
along with its cons.
This is another one of my favourite logo designs, which was created for -5
rd
street beat
entertainment/. ! really liked how they used numbers and letters to create one new design. !t seems
like a mind trick when the audience first looks at the logo, but once the viewers eyes travel to words
they try and find the letters that should have been spotted when first looked at. The use of simple
contrast is very effective in this case, the black and white create negative and positive space and that
bit of grey drags the attention right to words. The contrast in size between the logo and words is what
makes the eyes shift from the logo, to -5
rd
street beat/ to -entertainment/. The proimity of everything
is well done and helps distinguish the path that the audiences eyes travel. Another strong point is the
alignment, since everything is centered and in line with one another, therefore giving a professional
touch to the design, and improving its overall appeal to the audience.
6heck for use of -7,8/
This logo for -2evils #usic/ was one of the more successful ones. ! really liked how
simple the logo was and yet how without looking at words ! knew what they would say. The
music part is associated with the treble clef sign, while the colour red and horns are associated
with the devil. The black background makes the red and white stand out creating good contrast.
This logo was created for -%etfoto/ and in my opinion is a great design for a logo. 6onsidering
that the logo is designed to tell the audience that this company is for pet loving photographers. This logo is
creative and uses a great use of images and font. They do not contrast each other, but rather tell the
audience that they are connected. The lack of contrast in this case is a good thing. This logo has a double
image in it. The logo itself is a camera and the face of an animal (in my opinion a type of bear). This sends
the message of the product clearly, and the proimity of the word -petfoto/ is close enough that it is the
net thing the audiences eyes travels to and reinforces what the product is. ,ne thing ! didnt like was
how the logo seems to be something designed for a more younger audience. &verything (including the
font) seems childish and not very professional. ,verall the design was uni3ue and did a good 4ob telling
the audience what the product was, but not 3uite as successful with connecting to the correct audience.
