This lesson plan aims to teach students about the impact of technology in daily life. It includes several activities and objectives:

List of materials needed: A computer or laptop and projector or DVR player and TV More than 30 different inventions items (e.g. a computer, a fax machine, a lightning rod, a electric fire pan, etc) Notepad or notebook and pens A spreadsheet or A-4 paper for each group At least two different kind of markers Sticky gum, Tape or glue to put up group and/or pair-work results on the walls A copy of appendix A (more than 30 pictures) One small ball to throw it
Challenges and Solutions Challenges Solutions As the internet connection might not good and may find difficulty in accessing it

May be computers/ tablets/ laptops are not enough for each student Make sure you have enough computers. Use a seating chart to configure seating arrangements
Lesson Plan Time- 60 minutes Time Procedures Aims Materials 2 min T welcomes the Ss. T asks how the day was. How are they feeling now? What did they remember from the previous lessons? To welcome Ss. To make Ss comfortable and get involved in the topic by recalling the pre-lessons (in need show or refer pre-lessons) 5 min T shows the inventions cards Ss look at them and choose the learned names of the inventions.
T let Ss to look at the cards and take out the pre-learnt inventions. Ss discuss in the pair of the new inventions and names (if possible, inventors names or time period) To let them involve in the lesson completely, Find out the new inventions Ss guest the name of the inventions (if possible- inventors names or time period) Inventions Pictures card Appendix (1) 5 min T tells the students to make the list of the top 10 favourite inventions of all time. Ss then share with the other in a pair work to share their list. They compare the answers and decide together to get 5 inventions To let them express their own voice (choice)
