“ARCADIA” PACK
The Arcadia is the ultimate system for evacuating casualties from the battlefield. The pack is very low profile and is specifically
designed to carry a folding litter (not included). The pack is covered in PALS webbing so medical personnel can add any MOLLE
pouches needed for battle field patient care. The pack also has small pouches in the lid, as well as the securing flaps for small
items such as surgical gloves, extra tourniquets, and tie down straps for securing litter in vehicles and aircraft. The pack has thin
built in shoulder straps making it easier to wear over body armor. Heavy duty loop handles are sewn to the bottom and top so
you can secure the pack to vehicles. This is the ideal CASEVAC system for ground combat operations where patients have a high
probability of being transported by vehicle and subsequent evacuation by aircraft but cannot be moved from the litter due to time

BALCS or SPEAR cut level III, soft armor. The RAC will also accommodate any level 3 or 4 trauma plate, sizes
small through large long. The carrier’s unique design and features can not be found on any other carrier.
The RAC has minimal working parts and is the easiest carrier to assemble on the market. The RAC can be rigged in
(2) two configurations for maritime or land warfare missions. The RAC incorporates a (2) two cable release system
with (4) moving parts that makes the assembly process easier than ever before.
Configurations: The RAC is unique in the fact that the same system can be configured to release the back indepen-
dently of the shoulders with (2) separate pull pillows and cables (land warfare) or you can use the single pull pillow
configuration and release both at the same time (maritime).
The reason for the land warfare design is so if wounded, the back can be released leaving it connected at the shoulders
and the RAC can be lifted up out of the way during emergency medical treatment. It is then laid back down covering the
user and still provides protection while in transport to a medical facility. Once at the facility, medical personnel can pull
the second cable and release it from the user at the shoulders without causing any further injuries or trauma.
The vest can also be set up for maritime operations. Using the single pull pillow with (2) cables one connecting to
the shoulders and the other to the back. The RAC can be completely released from the wearer while in the water to
prevent an accidental drowning.

I recently returned some items to Blackhawk Industries. Believe it or not, it was shipped to me in a cardboard box
marked “Made in USA.” When I opened the box, the items inside were marked “Made in Vietnam.” Needless to say, I
was extremely angry to find out where Blackhawk manufactured their stuff. I returned it immediately and let then know
I would never buy gear made in a Communist country.
A short time later, I ordered a Tactical Assault Gear dump pouch for a package I was sending to a Marine in Iraq. I or-
dered the item from Ranger Joe’s. I cannot say enough about the quality of your products. I was literally stunned at how
well constructed the dump pouch was. It completely exceeded my expectations. You are truly making quality products
and I am proud that you make these items in the U.S.A. I also appreciate Mr. Osman’s outlook on the importance of
making his products in the U.S. and his disdain for those who would farm out the manufacture of military equipment to
our past enemies.
Keep up the good work. You have a customer for life!
