Page 1 of 2 Andover Continuum Software and Pelco Video Compatibility Matrix Versions 1.7 through 1.93
The products listed in the chart below are the only video products that can be integrated using Andover Continuums video features. Products not listed are not supported in Andover Continuum video features.
The Pelco component versions listed in this document are the tested and supported revisions per Andover Continuum software version.
Last Updated: March 30 th , 2011 CyberStation / web.Client Software Version
or = supported in Andover Continuum software = available as add-on software = not supported
Note: Viewing video via the Andover Continuum software interfaces requires different/additional machine resources than workstations and machines that do not use video functionality. Refer to the corresponding Andover Continuum software installation guides for each version (e.g. v1.92, v1.93) for hardware and software requirements to properly support video functionality.
1 VideoMon Add-On software is not part of the core Andover Continuum software; it is add-on software supported by the SEBB Americas region (not PSS). 2 Video Layouts functionality is supported both on CyberStation workstations and web.Client browsers. 3 Video Monitor (and Video Administrator used to configure it) is a paid add-on option (in v1.82) to CyberStation (per workstation) and is not supported on web.Client. 4 Video Monitor (and Video Administrator used to configure it) is a standard feature in CyberStation (as of v1.9) and is not supported on web.Client. 5 Endura support requires a paid add-on option to CyberStation (per workstation) and web.Client (per server). 6 Sarix cameras should be configured to use stream 2 at lower resolutions for best machine performance. 7 Only the following video alarms are supported: 1) video server online/offline, 2) camera video loss, and 3) motion detection (per camera). 8 DVX and DVXi do not support video loss and motion alarm functionality.

Page 2 of 2 Andover Continuum video interfaces:
Video Layouts: Introduced in v1.7, allow users to view live video and search (and view) recorded video in a matrix format (up to a 3x3 matrix). Video Layouts can be launched to display live video upon an alarm event. Note: Video Layouts are supported in CyberStation machines and in web.Client browsers.
Video Monitor: Introduced in v1.82, allows users to simultaneously view live and recorded video associated with Andover Continuum points (e.g. doors, outputs) upon an alarm event. Up to 16 cameras can be assigned to each object; only one camera can be viewed at a time. Note: Video Monitor (& Video Administrator used to configure it) is not supported in web.Client; it is only supported on CyberStation workstations.
Viewing video through a web page is possible but is not a core feature of Andover Continuum software. HTM file samples (for particular software version) are available on the Buildings Business Extranet Global website. Browse to Products Andover Continuum Software Sample HTM page for Video
General:
Because Pelco Digital Sentry and Endura are different systems with different integration methods, some video functionality with Andover Continuum may vary between systems.
Pelco video system versions must be successfully tested with Andover Continuum versions for video integration support Pelco release of a new version does not automatically ensure compatibility with Andover Continuum; it must be formally tested by Andover Continuum
Sarix cameras:
For Pelco Endura, Andover Continuum defaults to stream 2 for video. If stream 2 is not available, then Andover Continuum will revert to stream 1. However, note this does impact machine resources. Refer to the Andover Continuum software installation guides for machine requirements per revision.
Supported video formats:
Pelco Video Management System Supported video formats Digital Sentry MJPG, MPEG4, H.264 Endura MPEG4, H.264
Cameras tested:
Analog, IP (including Sarix cameras) were tested through both Digital Sentry and Endura systems to verify compatibility with Andover Continuum. The following table includes the sample IP and Sarix cameras tested (including revision).
Note: Only Andover Continuum software v1.92 and greater support Sarix cameras.

Compatible Endura components (including versions) per Andover Continuum software revision:
Specific versions of Pelco Endura components have been tested for compatibility Andover Continuum software. The following versions (for the products below) are required for compatibility per Andover Continuum software revision:
Note: Only Endura-enabled components are compatible with Andover Continuum software e.g. the DVR5100 must be Endura-enabled to be supported.
You may need to upgrade the software in your Pelco devices for successful integration with Andover Continuum. Software upgrades are available from Pelco.
