OF PAGES 43 pages ABSTRACT The study aimed to explore the real experiences on harmful actions of barbiturates. The study used the qualitative-pharmacological research design. The researchers interviewed 6 participants who are taking barbiturates until saturation point was reached. The participants showed their experiences without any uncertainty. Results Participants answered the questions willingly thus giving the researchers this results. Conditions that infuences someone to take barbiturates, 4 out of 6 participants answered that its because of friends infuence. They tend to deepen their relationship with their friends so if everyone is doing it hes obligated to follow. Participant J answered that he use drugs because of friends and family. When did you start/using barbiturates and how often? Participant bong stated that he starts using drugs at age of 13 and he can snif the drugs 6 three times a day. Other participants stated that they also start at young age because of friends infuence and family problem. Efects of barbiturates, according to participant R.A. hes energetic and cant sleep at night. Other participants stated the same answer because they use the same drugs, like restlessness and energetic. Relationships status to families, friends and relatives. According to participant J and bong their families dont accept their ways on taking drugs thus giving the family members the doubt to trust them. Other participants gave the same answer with the question, not trusting with family members and the questioning of how they view their ways. The last question is lessons learned on past life, each participants have unique answers on what lessons they learned from their past actions, but every one of them answered they want to be free and if they can turn back time they will not commit to such act and start all over again.
