led her to specialize in new media technology applied in various communication disciplines. A practicing communication

corporate image of the company. Being critical on such output, all her design concepts are entirely based on a
prior study about its audience. She adopts the dictum of using the technology creatively and responsibly. Today,

AB Visual Communication. She entered Aquinas University in year 2000 to teach Advertising Arts and was later
appointed as its Program Chair in year 2005. During her stint, she was able to realign its curriculum in response to the
growing demand of technology and global competence. As a result, she initiated the Visual Communication program in
the University. Courses handled are mostly professional and theoretical subjects.

AB Communication. Right after finishing her MA degree in UP, she was assigned to teach under the Mass
Communications program as Assistant Professor 1. Currently, she has given new breadth and dimension to its core
curriculum and instruction incorporating multimedia; the convergence of communication and technology into its
professional subjects in order to keep pace with the global demands through intensive hands-on experience in audio-
visual productions.

She established this non-government organization aimed at redirecting the streetchildren lives through creative
programs. The network caters free art lessons and workshops to street and urban working children ages 4-17 years old.
They are the direct beneficiaries of the networks programs and activities. It has combined the social mobilization and
social marketing strategies in all of its activities adapting a bottom-up approach in management.

Based from these intense training, she was able to launch a group of artists dubbed Arte Lansangan whose members
are composed of street and urban working children. Months later, it has extended its services to Children International
Legazpi to increase its reach. The group Artisantinta was also launched. She has curated the series of exhibit by these
streetchildren artists aimed at primarily creating awareness to the public, a mute testimony of what these children are
capable of doing.

As a development communication practitioner, her expertise was tapped by various NGOs in designing communication
programs and IEC materials for various clients. Top clients include the Street Urban Working-Legazpi (SUWCP),
Children International (CSCDI Inc.) and CAPIU-LC.

Research. Her magnum opus is a pioneering effort in the field of ethnovideography, considered by communicators and
social scientists as the modern-day most reliable methodology in research undertaking. The study uncovers the hidden
mystery of the Philippines pride, Caramoan Peninsula; its beauty, and the wealth of the communitys wisdom that has
preserved the paradise for centuries. Through ethnovideography, the study was able to document the local practices of
the community in Caramoan relative to environmental conservation. The research undertaking spurred for a development
program which was implemented in Caramoan National Park under the domain environmental communication advocacy.
The manuscript is published on UPs online journal, Convergence.














Her TV documentary was nominated as CMMA entry for film. Paghilom is an extraordinary tale of survival and
courage as survivors of mudslide in Albay recount their stories on how they were able to escape from the
devastation which caused thousands of residents buried and homeless. Today, she has been producing AVPs used
for various commercial presentations.

Newslink Bicol. Prior to graduating in college she spent a year in the local media community as newswriter her
beat crime stories. Sooner, she ventured into investigative reporting covering in-depth stories on local issues. After
a year, she became the managing editor of the said paper. Her task include writing, editing news stories including
preparation of dummy of the newspaper.

The Bicol Chronicle. Worked as Associate Editor of Bicolandias leading newspaper.
