rization and Accounting (AAA) server of choice for major

Complete support for Wi-Fi Wireless LANs
With the recent explosion of Wireless Enterprise LANs
and public Hot-Spots the need for secure access is rap-
idly evolving and expanding. The extensive implemen-
tation of Wi-Fi networks using 802.1x and Extensible
Authentication Protocol (EAP) for access control requires
a AAA server that supports all the current standards.
In addition to its use in authenticating users, client
hardware and servers, EAP can also be used to support
dynamic key creation for securing the network traffc
fowing through the air. This capability provides an ad-
ditional layer of protection for users and administrators
concerned about data security.
EAP can be easily integrated within custom tailored
policies created with the 8950 AAA PolicyFlowTM pro-
gramming language or via the systems PolicyAssistant
an easy to use step-by-step GUI wizard that allows
administrators to build specifc policies in a fast easy and
effcient way. To provide additional security for wire-
less networks, the 8950 AAA server can integrate EAP
with secure token access using products like SecurID,
Defender, SafeWord and VASCO.
