LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

I was extremely happy when Supritha B R approached me for recommendation for the graduate
program at your prestigious University. I have known her well holding the position of Professor in the
Computer Science Dept. in R V College of Engineering. I tutored her in Data Communication and
Networking during fifth semester.

Supritha is a highly enthusiastic student, with a strong quest for knowledge and eagerness to work for
it. Her intellectual aptitude and proficiency in computer science is demonstrated by her consistent
excellent performances. She has a CGPA of 8.82 for a total of 6 semesters as part of our
Undergraduate program which makes her fall in the top 20% students in our department. I am certain
that she will maintain this outstanding performance throughout her academic life.

I find her as bright and sincere student with analytical ability, creativity, innovation and originality. She
has great communication skills and has exhibited the same in her term paper on Software Radio. I
have also known her in the capacity of a counsellor and have been guiding her for the last three years.
Her conduct and zeal, have both demonstrated her willingness to learn. She is very much well versed
in programming and networks. I inferred this by the progress she has made in her mini-project work to
implement An IDS for DoS attack during live migration.

During the recent years she has shown great levels of commitment in both course work and
extracurricular activities. She actively took part in the National Conference on Recent Trends in
Computer Technology organized in our college where she presented a paper on Convex Hull
Algorithms. She displayed excellent communication skills and a knack of management throughout the
conference. She has also developed various android and windows phone applications which have
been published in the respective markets.

Supritha is a student who I am confident has passion and determination which will enable her to
achieve her goals in all her fields of interest. Her keen interest to pursue graduate studies is what
motivated me to write this letter. Procuring her an admission for the graduate program in your
prestigious university will provide her with a challenging and lucrative future. She will beyond doubt
