Help the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges make this years fast a feast for those people whose daily fast is neither symbolic nor voluntary. Fill a bag entirely with ONE of these items: peanut butter; cans of green vegetables, beans, corn or potatoes; cans of tuna or chicken; cans of tomato sauce; cans of fruit; jelly in plastic containers; cans of stew, chili or ravioli; or cans of soup.
Plan to arrive at Temple 10-15 minutes early to allow time for park- ing and seating. Tickets will be checked at the door. Be sure to bring your tickets with you to every service. Please do not save seats for latecomers or leave spaces between you and the person seated next to you so that everyone can be accommodated. We are able to provide live Holy Day worship through telephone lines and computer via live video streaming. Please see our Temple website for further instructions. This service is provided by the Josh Littman Audio-Video Fund. To insure that your ticket request is honored, please return the Ticket Request Form as soon as possible, but no later than TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2. TSTI offers an Early and Late Service for each of the High Holy Days. You must choose either ALL EARLY or ALL LATE Services. We cannot accommodate split tickets, except Erev Rosh Hashanah. Members must pay a minimum of half of the 2014-2015 dues by September 2. Religious School, Pre-School tuition and all prior balances are due in full unless previous arrangements have been made. Children between the ages of 12 and 25 will receive tickets. Their names and ages must be on the enclosed Ticket Request Form. Each ticket will show the congregants name. Children 26 or older are considered Guests and a ticket must be purchased for them. Tickets are NOT required for the Welcome Rosh Hashanah pro- gram, Childrens Program or the Intergenerational Services. If you will be out of town, call the Temple ofce at 973-763-4116. We can arrange to have tickets for you at any URJ synagogue. Guest Tickets: Members may only purchase guest tickets ($200. each) for par- ents, adult children and their spouses and grandchildren. Tickets may not be purchased for former TSTI members or their families. Please be sure to enclose payment in the envelope provided. Friends Tickets: As has long been our policy, Friends membership (out-of-state membership) requires the purchase of tickets for services at $275. per ticket. TICKET INFORMATION WELCOME ROSH HASHANAH A Sweet Start and Service for the New Year Erev Rosh Hashanah 5:30 P.M. Bring blankets and lawnchairs as we enjoy an informal celebra- tory Rosh Hashanah worship service on our front lawn and mansion terrace, ending with apples and honey. Families are welcome. No tickets required. SANCTUARY SEATING AND DECORUM Uniformed ofcers and professional parking attendants are on hand to greet congregants. Please follow their directions. Township parking rules will be in effect on all side streets. Members may be dropped off at the entrance to the Gellis Plaza at the direction of the trafc attendants. Babysitting: Only at EARLY morning services for children between 2 (must be toilet trained) and 5, ONLY with advance registration. See Ticket Request Form. Morning Childens Programs: An informal educational program offered concurrently with Early Morning Sanctuary Services for grades K-6. We strongly urge families to return for the Intergenera- tional Service for a worship experience. See Ticket Request Form for registration. Intergenerational Services: For young children accompanied by parents or grandparents. Open to everyone. Tickets not required. The High Holy Days seem to be . . .either too early or too late. Our Sanctuary seems to be . . . .either too warm or too cool. Our air conditioning system seems to . . . overcompensate for the size of the Sanctuary and the number of people in it.
