Social responsibility is sense of moral that all of us should be possessing
towards our fellow beings and in turn to the environment, but sadly just a few
possess it. It is about living and letting others(present and future) live as well.

What can be PSR's unique contribution to society ? *
PSR should aim not only at making lives better, but should provide them ways
to improve it themselves.
For example, instead of just providing daily requirements to the needy, it would
be better if education is spread. This will give them a new ray of hope of
standing on their own legs, and improve their lives to a greater extent.
It should work more upon sustainable development.

What will be your unique contribution to PSR ? *
We engineers are responsible for most of the harms to the environment due to
the technology we use and, then dump.
First serious attention has to be given towards the deteriorating environment
for a safe and secure future.
I will provide a good company to the ones in need of affection and care.
I will try to impart knowledge to the less privileged so that even they get a
chance to come up in life on their own.

One big is always better due to the following reasons:
More innovative ideas will come, and we would not get exhausted brain storming for
more event ideas.
Contribution towards the event will be more as the whole team will be working on a
single event.
Team spirit will be more.

5) Decision of a Head or Decision of the whole Team? *
It is always better to go with the decision of the team, because it is more minds put to
work rather than just ones thoughts.
Even if the decision becomes a big flop, only one person would not be held
responsible, and always a better chance of recovery.
6) Justify the importance of one of your Positions of Responsibility.
I was the house captain in my school. It took great struggle, determination and
devoted work to lead my house to the overall shield.

7) Which one, according to you, is more useful: Wheel orTyre? *
Wheel is more important as it is the backbone. Without the tyre the wheel can be
used but not vice versa. Always the support is more important

Talent. How will you go about contacting him? List out the incentives that you
think will be enough to lure IGT into sponsoring Infotainments flagship event
Pragyans Got Talent.
First I will obtain his email-Id through online sources.
Mail him the details regarding Pragyans got talent, its background and popularity.

Make IGT feel that Pragyan has got quality, and their sponsoring this event would
not be a sheer waste of time and money.


10) Information or Entertainment?
Information is always the key to entertainment. Pragyan actually being a tech fest needs
proper information sharing instead of just focusing on entertainment.`


Fill in the following details.
What is the necessity of a Quality Assurance team in Pragyan? What do you think
you will be doing as a part of this team? *
The quality assurance is ensuring the ISO 9001:2008 certifications for
Pragyan. Quality assurance team maintains the name and fame of Pragyan
by carefully analysing other teams work and ensures proper
documentation, so that a committed error is not repeated again.

It should be working in three stages. Before Pragyan, the team has to maintain
records of the planning stage of every other team, go through the previous years
records and make sure that the previous mistakes are rectified.
During Pragyan, statistic of every event has to be noted down, number of
participants taken into account, proper feedback have to be taken from the
participants, and problems faced during the events noted down.
After Pragyan, all the documents have to be compiled and analysed. They need to
be compared with the previous years record and the improvements and fallacies
should be reported to the respective teams.
What is ISO? Which standards are Pragyan currently certified with? *
ISO is a body for maintaining a specific standard worldwide. This ensures
that the service provided matches the quality required as per the standards
established.
ISO 9001:2008- This is provided for maintaining auditing records and managing
quality system in place.
ISO 20121- This is provided for organising a sustainable event.

Tell us something about the organizational structure of Pragyan. *
The team members work under the control of the team head(s), and the
working of all the Pragyan teams is carefully scrutinised, analysed and
records maintained by the Quality assurance team.

Imagine you are representing the Quality Assurance team for an event and
you have found out that the judgment is biased. However your close friend
is the beneficiary of that judgment. What will be your reaction? *
Being a part of QA team itself brings it out clear that whatever be the case it
is just the quality of the event that finally matters. The situation should be
seen in the view of all the participants, and decision should not be one
sided. The whole purpose of having a quality assurance teams fails when the
biased decision is allowed to stay.
So the judge will be asked to review his judgement, and provide an
unbiased marking for the event.



Getting genuine feedback from participants has been a challenging task.
Suggest to us an effective method for collecting genuine feedback from the
participants compulsorily, without irritating them. *

We can have serial numbering for the feedback forms. Goodies,
merchandise and free coupons can be provided to lucky winners based on
the serial numbers that are received back by the team.
Also Pragyan goodies can be provided for valuable criticism.
The feedback form can be provided in spheres designed like planets, so that
they have something to take back home even when they have not won.

Supposing you are an outside participant for Pragyan, what are the changes
you would like to see in Pragyan15? *
Accommodation space for the outsiders needs to be increased.
There should be no clashing of timings for two events. This is caused due to
the delay in the start on the first event.
The locations of the various events are not at the same place. It would be
more convenient if they all can be clustered at the same place.
The food stalls burn a hole in the outsiders pocket. So good quality,
affordable food has to be made available.
