Chris has worked with talent from the shop foor to the boardroom, a range of experience that has taught him
that regardless of position, working safely matters to people. He has helped individuals, teams, and

relationships, and inspire greater safety performance.
Chris spent many years as an operational engineering manager, culminating in a number of offshore
engineering, safety management and auditing roles. There he recognised the impor tance of focusing safety
leadership on both the management systems and the passion side of business. In his time he has applied
this learning to many major client projects, including Shell, Conoco - Phillips, RasGas, Rolls Royce, Westland
Helicopters and The National Health Service in the UK.
Chriss basic approach is to build trusting relationships, understand the client business, and to clarify required
safety outcomes. This he sees as essential to surviving the inevitably bumpy ride of safety transformat ion
and getting beyond qualifcations to practical application whereby real value is added. His style, as
expected from someone with his background, is energetic, pragmatic, and results - focused. When not at
work, Chris helps to run a sailing charity i ntroducing people to the mental stimulation of offshore sailing.
He also plays guitar and relaxes by listening to classical music.

examining board and awarding body with charitable status.
We offer a
comprehensive range of globally-recognised,

Payment:
Full payment is required within 5 working days from receipt of invoice.
All payments must be made in full before the training. All bookings received within 10 working days of the
training can only be paid by credit card.
Training fees include entrance to the training sessions, refreshments & lunch as per onsite schedule, and the core
textbook material, NEBOSH examination fee, tutor support and revision session. Please note that accommoda-
tion, visa and travel are not included in the training fee.
Pricing and Discounts:
To be eligible for an Early Bird discount, the signed booking form and full payment must be received by close of
business on the relevant deadline date.
If payment is not received by the Early Bird deadline date, the discounted rate will no longer apply and the
current rate at that time will be applicable.
Cancellation and Substitutions:
Once booked cancellation of delegate places cannot be made, however a substitution can be made at any time.
Please email details of the substitute delegate to conferences-india@ubm.com no later than 3 days before the
start of the event.
In the event that UBM cancels an event for any reason, you will receive a credit note for 100% of the training fee
paid.
In the event that UBM postpones an event for any reason and the delegate is unable or unwilling to attend on
the rescheduled date, you will receive a credit note for 100% of the conference fee paid.
Credit notes can be used towards another UBM Trainings India event to be mutually agreed with UBM, which
must occur within one year from the date of postponement.
Except as specied above, no credits will be issued for other forms of cancellation.
UBM is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postpone-
ment of an event. UBM shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this training is cancelled, rescheduled
or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders
performance of this training impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event
shall include, but not be limited to: war, re, labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency.
