Week 2 Start Em and Sit Em

Obvious starters such as Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, and Lesean McCoy will not be
mentioned.
Quarterbacks
Start: Andy Dalton
Dalton and the Bengals are going to be facing the Atlanta Falcons this week. Atlanta has
a very bad defense and is coming off a game where they allowed 333 passing yards. Sure, they
were facing one of the top QBs in the league but nonetheless the Falcons secondary is awful and
Andy Dalton is in for a big day.

Start: Andrew Luck
Luck and the Colts will be taking on the Philadelphia Eagles this Monday. Luck is
coming off a pretty good outing against a very good Broncos defense. There is no reason that he
will not have just as good of a game this week if not an even better game. Phillys secondary is
mediocre at best (Richard Sherman voice) and Luck has a lot of options on offense. Look for
Andrew to be near the top of the fantasy football points standings after this week.

Start: Colin Kaepernick
Kaepernick is coming off a pretty good game against a very weak Cowboys defense. The
Bears defense is much better but allowed 17 points last week to EJ Manuel. Kaepernick and
Manuel have the same style of play, mobile, but Kaepernick is more a rounded QB. The Bears
defense might be better than the Cowboys but still wont be good enough to slow down
Kaepernick. Expect for him to put up some really nice numbers in week 2.

Sleeper: Jake Locker
Locker is going up against the leagues worst defense in the Cowboys and is coming off a
relatively good game against Kansas City. Locker is a free agent in a lot of leagues so if you
need to rent a QB for a week, go pick him up! Jake shouldnt disappoint against a very bad
Cowboys secondary.

Sit: Jay Cutler
Cutler played very well last week against Buffalo but did throw two interceptions. Cutler
leads his team into San Francisco to take on a very tough 49ers team with a very tough defense.
Even though Cutler has Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery I dont look for him to have a very
good game. Not to mention that Cutler hasnt been the best on the road against the NFC in the
recent past. It isnt looking good for Jay Cutler or anyone who starts him this week.

Sit: Phillip Rivers
Well I think we all know why Rivers should be benched this week. He is going up
against the best defense in the league in the Seahawks and even though this is a home game, it
wont be good for Rivers. We all saw what happened to Aaron Rodgers, one of the leagues best
QBs, this past week and I have a feeling that the same thing will happen to Phillip this week.

Sit: Eli Manning
Eli definitely hasnt been productive at all lately and going up against a great Cardinals
secondary this week will not help. Expect for Eli to throw a few interceptions like he did
Monday night against a lackluster Lions secondary. Honestly, I wouldnt even start Eli right now
if he was playing against the Cowboys.

Keep an eye on: Cam Newton
This is the first game that we will be able to see Cam in action this season. He is going up
against a very weak Lions secondary but a very strong Lions front seven. If you dont have any
other options then obviously start Cam but if someone else is available that is a lower risk player
then I wouldnt start Cam.

Running Backs
Start: Frank Gore
Gore had 16 touches last week but didnt make a major impact. This week he will be
going up against the Bears defense who allowed 174 rushing yards in week one. I expect Frank
Gore to take full advantage of his carries this week and put up a pretty good amount of fantasy
points.

Start: Alfred Morris
Morris had a solid week one against a tough Texans defense racking up almost 100 yards
on the ground but did not get in the end zone. This week he will be facing a Jaguars defense who
allowed 145 rushing yards last week. I look for Morris to take full advantage of his matchup this
week.

Start: Arian Foster
Foster racked up over 100 yards last week against the Redskins. This week he will be
facing the Raiders defense who allowed 212 rushing yards in week one. When healthy, Foster is
a very good option at running back and he looked healthy in week one. Expect a good game from
Foster this week.

Sit: Reggie Bush
Bush is going up against a very good Panthers defense that is tough on running backs. If
you are in a PPR league then Bush may be a decent flex option but in a standard league, he most
likely will struggle to rack up points this week.

Sit: Ryan Mathews
Mathews will be taking on a great defense in the Seahawks. Mathews only posted 40
yards this past week against a very good Cardinals defense but did find the end zone once.
Nonetheless, Mathews is a bad option at running back for week two.

Sit: Rashad Jennings
Jennings only ran for 46 yards this past week but also found the end zone once. He will
be going up against a tough Cardinals defense that only allowed a total of 52 rushing yards in
week one. It will be tough for Jennings to get anything going this week vs. Arizona.

Keep an eye out on: DeMarco Murray
Murray ran for over 100 yards in week one against a pretty good 49ers defense. He will
be taking on the Titans this week who allowed a total of only 67 rushing yards in week one and
held Jamaal Charles to only 19 yards on the ground. Murray would be a good option this week as
a second or third running back.

Wide Receivers
Start: Michael Floyd
Floyd is a great option this week as he is going up against a pretty weak Giants
secondary. He totaled 119 yards in week one vs. San Diego and was targeted more than Larry
Fitzgerald who only had 22 yards. This is a very favorable matchup for Michael Floyd.

Start: Antonio Brown
Brown had a great game this past week finishing with 116 yards and one touchdown.
He was matched up with Joe Haden which makes this even more impressive. This Thursday
night he will be going up against a rather weak Ravens secondary that gave up 301 receiving
yards this past week. Look for Brown to have another big game this week.

Start: Pierre Garcon
With the addition on Desean Jackson, Pierre Garcon is no longer the only weapon which
is very good for him in a way. Going up against the Jaguars this week, I predict that Garcon will
have a pretty nice game. The same can be said for Desean but I dont believe Desean will have as
good of a game as Garcon this week.

Sleeper: Kelvin Benjamin
Benjamin had almost 100 yards receiving and one touchdown last week in his first NFL
regular season start. This week he goes up against a weak Lions secondary and with his size and
speed I think he will be able to get open and have a productive week. He hasnt had the
opportunity to play with Cam yet so we will see how that plays out. If you are looking for a third
wide receiver this week, look no further as Kelvin is your guy.

Sit: Keenan Allen
Allen is a very productive wide receiver but this week he wont be. Seattle had no
problem basically shutting down Cobb and Nelson last week and will have no problem shutting
down Allen this week. Not to mention the fact that Sherman will most likely be the one Allen
goes up against.

Sit: Mike Wallace
Wallace had a pretty productive game last week against Revis and the Pats but this week
most likely wont be an encore. Wallace has been far from good in the recent past while playing
away from home having only scored a touchdown two times in the past eleven away games.

Sit: Eric Decker
This really shouldnt come as a surprise as Decker has Geno Smith as his QB. Even
though Decker is going up against a lackluster Green Bay defense, it is clear that until Geno
Smith can learn how to be consistent in his throwing, Decker will be irrelevant.
Keep an eye on: Emmanual Sanders
Sanders had a pretty good game last week against Indianapolis. With the new NFL drug
policy being voted on, Welker may be back as soon as this Sunday so if thats the case then
Sanders receptions may decrease and if not, then he worth starting as your third wide receiver.

Tight End

Start: Greg Olsen
Olsen had a great first game posting over 80 yards and snagging one touchdown. Also,
Olsen has scored at least eight fantasy points in 4 of the last 5 games in Carolina. I look for that
streak to continue this week.

Start: Delanie Walker
Walker had a very solid outing in his first game of the season scoring 9 fantasy points.
Also, he is going up against Dallas this week, a team that gave up to touchdowns to Vernon
Davis a week ago. Walker should be in for a pretty decent game on Sunday.

Start: Rob Gronkowski
Gronk has obviously had some trouble staying healthy in the past couple of seasons but
he looked decent on Sunday. Gronk is obviously Bradys biggest threat and Minnesota gave up
13 touchdowns and an average of 9 points per game to tight ends last season. The only thing is
that Gronk was limited in practice on Wednesday so if you have him in your lineup, make sure
he will be playing. All reports sound as if he will suit up and play on Sunday.

Sleeper: Niles Paul
Paul is the back up to Jordan Reed in Washington but may be starting this week. Reed
suffered and injury in week one that may keep him out of action for a little while and if so then
Paul may be the guy you need to grab off of waivers. Im not promising anything big out of this
guy but he did have 86 yards on 4 receptions on Sunday. If you are in need of a tight end then I
would snag him off waivers.

Sit: Antonio Gates
Gates is going up against a tough defense in the Seahawks and wouldnt be a good option
in week two. Seattle only allowed two points from tight ends last week. I definitely wouldnt be
confident in starting him in week two.

Sit: Coby Fleener
Fleener is a decent tight end but often has troubles with catching the ball which is no
good for fantasy points. Not to mention the fact that Dwayne Allen gets some of the looks too.
The Colts have way too many weapons for Fleener to be a consistent fantasy tight end.

Sit: Charles Clay
Clay, while being the second best option for Tannehill, is known for playing badly in
Buffalo. Not to mention the fact that he is being bothered by a knee injury. Charles Clay isnt a
bad option but this week he should be on your bench. The fact that he isnt 100% and has a
history of doing bad in Buffalo isnt a good thing for Clay.

Keep an eye on: Larry Donnell
Donnell came in for the Giants last week and caught his first career touchdown. Havent
heard too much about this guy and with Eli throwing the ball he may not be too reliable but if
you need a sleeper tight end, then he is one of the better ones available.

Defense
Start: Cardinals
There is no doubt that the Cardinals have one of the best defenses in the league and the
fact that they play the Giants makes this even better. You can guarantee that the Cardinals will
come away with at least two interceptions this week and maybe even a defensive touchdown.

Sit: Chiefs
Losing Derrick Johnson for the season to a torn Achilles is a huge blow for this defense.
Going up against Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense makes this even worse. It wouldnt
surprise me if they came out of week two with negative fantasy points.

Sleeper: Buccaneers
Going up against the Rams offense will really help the Bucs this week not to mention that
they already have a pretty decent defense to begin with. If no better options (Broncos, Texans,
Cardinals, ETC) are available then I would definitely go with these guys.

Kickers
Start: Phil Dawson
Dawson and the Niners are going up against a Bears team that allowed three field goals
from 50 yards out last week. This could be a great week for Dawson.

Sit: Sebastian Janikowski
Janikowski scored only two points last week and it is evident that he is slowing down. I
wouldnt start him or even have him on my team unless he was the only option left.
