Associate Engineer
Provided technical assistance for water and sewer projects for the Marianas Islands of Rota and Tinian. Handled
ordering of parts and supplies, system inspections, and securing CUC personnel for site projects and repairs.

Achievements:
Performed survey and assessment of drinking water infrastructure completing a four year report to the US
Congress. Completed and submitted report for Saipan, Tinian and Rota earning around $6 million for projects.
Prepared detailed construction specifications for a warehouse building on the Island of Rota. Completed required
permitting, secured contractors and suppliers, and supervised warehouse construction completing the project on
schedule and within budget.
Developed project master plan for CUC to identify infrastructure requirements for the next 20 years.

Provide community support and administration of parks, rivers, and national heritage areas.

Civil Engineer/ Housing Manager
Served as a technical advisor to park staff on water, sewer and housing issues. Handled park projects for Glacier Bay
and Yukon Charley including a $600,000 house and a $900,000 filtration system. Completed additional Glacier Bay
projects, a region without road access, including an architect and engineering review of the sewer system and
developing plans for adding a maintenance building to the system, and a professional inspection for recommendations
on how to more effectively treat waste with the current treatment facility.

Achievements:
Performed review of a Glacier Bay project and determined work failed to meet specifications and notified the
contractor. Work required to meet specifications was performed by the contractor at no additional project cost.
Coordinated construction of housing project within a designated national disaster area completed on time and on
budget.
Received national recognition for heading a workgroup that investigating a longstanding housing issue offering
recommendations to the directorate for correct housing projects billing.
Completed a housing needs assessment (HNA) for Denali National Park and Preserve it was the first one in the
nation to be completed. The HNAs were last done in 1998 and were what housing needs were identified in the
parks.

Traditional tribal consortium of the 42 villages of Interior Alaska.

O&M Engineer/Director of Office of Environmental Health
Provided point of contact for Tanana Chiefs Conference on environmental issues including water and sewer, budgeting,
and human resource issues for ten staff members.

Achievements:
Promoted to Director of the Office of Environmental Health within one year of service.
Managed $1 million State of Alaska Remote Maintenance Worker grant ensuring all grant criteria was achieved on
schedule.

Not-for-profit tribal health organization managed by Alaska Native tribal governments.

Project Engineer
Performed full project management including logistics, funding, permitting, design and project close outs. Managed over
30,000 hours of labor completing critical infrastructure projects.

Achievements:
Handled village well project funded at $175,000. Completed project for $45,000 by utilizing a local contractor.
