I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no Savior. Isaiah 43:11
Dear Family and Friends, These words from the Lord through Isaiah were true in Old Testament times when they were written to Israel and they are still true for all the world today. Jesus is the one and only way to be saved. People may not like it, not want to believe it or accept it, they may deny it and choose to believe differently, but nothing can change the fact that God said it and thats the way it is. So many have been deceived and dont know the truth. We must strive to help everyone we can to know the true Savior.
In the last letter I mentioned a trip planned to Nigeria the first part of September. The screens, etc. that were shipped a couple of months ago have not yet arrived at the new ministries, so I will need to wait until they are there, probably in October. This may also be Gods means of protection from the Ebola virus in that region (thank you for your prayers).
We still have a couple of mobile meetings this month and a couple more tentatively planned for next month. We praise the Lord for more opportunities. I am also talking with a missionary/pastor in the Birmingham area who is interested in becoming a Drive-In partner. This would continue the expansion and outreach of the mobile ministry in the U.S. to five partners.
We are excited about possibly beginning construction on the new office/ministry facility by the end of this year. Since its been over a year and a half since our contractor gave us the price to build the first phase, he is now rechecking the costs of materials, etc. to see what price changes have occurred and what our actual cost will be now. Please pray that the Lord will guide and provide so that we can begin soon.
School is back in full swing and we are all adjusting to a new routine. Joseph joined the football team and was able to play in a preseason Jamboree, but will miss the first few games due to dropping a 45 lb. weight on his big toe in practice. He is hobbling around in a boot (being sympathetic with Jennifer!). She is getting along without her crutches now, still wearing the boot, and the bones are beginning to heal. Back in June, Carolyn was in a car accident, which has left them with huge medical bills. She was not working at the time so there was no insurance coverage. They would greatly appreciate your prayers and help. On the brighter side, Rebekah will be turning 30 on Sept. 12 and David and Cricket are expecting another baby! The Lord has been so faithful to our family. Thank you for your prayers and notes to keep in touch! AMJ
Thank you again for your partnership with us in this great endeavor with God. Your support and prayers are much more than just a ministry partnership, it is a personal relationship that we cherish and thank the Lord for as we pray daily for you. God bless you. In His service together, Mike & AnnaMae, and family
