results of last years Associate Surveys, and get your feedback on ways to improve engagement, store-wide. I want to thank everyone for their participation and honesty throughout this pro- cess! Hopefully you found these meetings as valuable and productive as me and my co- managers have. Any opportunity to exchange ideas and concerns can only help make us better as a team. You all had some great suggestions and legitimate concerns, which I am proud to have been able to addressand will continue to address in the future. One of the areas we struggled with overall, was communication. As a result of your feedback, we added this newslet- ter (which is printed monthly, posted on the main communication board outside the man- agers office, distributed in the break room, and is available on-line at the new HUB). Addition- ally, Im pleased to announce that, as a direct result of your suggestions, we were able to get extra equipment for several departments, change some procedures, fix some housekeep- ing issues, and answer a lot of your questions pertaining to everything from hours and dress code, to rewards & recognition. There are even more exciting changes on the horizon, based on your ideas and, I look forward to contin- uing to improve our store together. This month you will be asked, once again, to participate in a formal on-line survey. Hopefully you have seen our commitment to improving various issues in the store, as well as following through on your sugges- tions.
