Key Project: Worked closely with clients to develop wireframes and design concepts to effectively translate customer
requirements into User Interface specification documents for third generation (3G) series of cell phones. Collaborated with
the UI and development teams to visualize my designs. To ensure a quality user experience all designs were thoroughly
reviewed and modified based on the reviews. Regular meetings with clients to determine project needs and to present
new and modified designs were another key responsibility of this role.
Key Project Accomplishments:
Creation of nearly 8000 pages of UI specifications for over 40 applications by UI Design team.
One UI specification for Text and Multimedia Messaging was 500 pages alone.
Also, as a senior designer I hired, directed and mentored junior and freelance designers.
In charge of carrier spreadsheets for stating our compliance (or non) to their requirements by application and
submission to worldwide carriers.

Developed revolutionary way to use an affinity diagram and apply it to screen templates.
Developed first touch screen appliance for Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Kenmore.

juices, farming equipment, etc. Responsible for interviewing the three classes of users in various sized operations, writing
up the contextual analysis report, and giving a recommendation to the board of directors.
Key Project Accomplishments:
Ethnographic studies with three classes of users of the proposed system.
Took client stakeholders with me on the visits so they could see the data directly.
Caused the company to totally re-think their business plan, funding, personnel, market, and product.

Managed, hired and lead successful teams of user interface architects and visual designers for various clients.

Key Project: Invented and prototyped revolutionary, universal (wireless phones to PCs) Java client and framework. This
allowed you to have your desktop and your data on any platform that you authenticated to. Performed design concepts,
user interface specifications, and visual design across all platforms (mobile, AS/400, Windows, Unix, etc.).
Key Project Accomplishments:
Responsible for taking the only CTO project ever to a product team and then delivering it to the market.
Created single sign on by either using biometrics (primarily fingerprint and voice) or password.
Hired and lead team for the implementation of this patented idea.

Managed and formed a team to create company-wide UI guidelines for Windows and Mac.
Conducted feature usage studies for WordPerfect 5.2 and 6.0a for Windows.
