Sound art is a diversed group of art practices that considers the wide notion, listening of
sound as focuses.

It is because they are like the different genres of contemporary art.

The Beatles Revolution 9 is about the time during the 60s, where there is drugs, hippies, it
included the rumours where says Paul is dead. Generally it summarize the incidents that had
happened within that generation. I think it is a successful Sound Art piece since it does not
have any captions, plays or narrator but a mixture of sound.

Shape and colour are obvious principles when considering the artwork. There are many
shapes that are associated with this artwork such as circles, rectangles. Color is another
concept such as red, and dark blue are usually associated with the deeper notes, while
higher notes accompany the light blue colors.

5) What kind of mood/feeling do you get from the work and why?
I get the excitement of sounds because I found different songs has different secret
message.

Yes, I agree that the work successfully incorporates abstract film since it fully performed the
entire stylistic characteristic from abstract film when they also used the rhythm of music
accompanied to invoke emotions or messages.
