Using the Excel Analysis ToolPak function descriptive statistics, generate descriptive
statistics for the salary data.
Which variables does this function not work properly for, even though we have some
excel generated results?

6. What conclusions can you make about the issue of male and female pay equality? Are all
of the results consistent? If not, why not?

Overall analysis

We may use Sheet 2. F - desc stat & M - Fx for this analysis

Using the mean as a criteria, we can conclude the following:

The salary of males is higher on an average than females
The compa of females is higher than the males
The salary increase is also higher in males than females

The results are not consistent.

Compa is higher in case of females since the median of the female salary is much lower than that
of the males.
Hence, female's salaries are being divided by a smaller denominator than that of male's.
