 Story: Poison!
Instructions: Order the sentences. The first one is done for you.

Pair Dialogs
At the hospital Mary talked to the
doctor. Then she phoned her husband
and her parents. She wanted to stay at
the hospital with her baby that night, so
she also called her boss at the restaurant
to ask for the evening off. Her husband
first talked to his wife on the phone and
then told his boss he had to go to the
hospital. At the hospital he talked to his
wife and then to the doctors. They both
talked to their daughter.
With your partner, pick one
conversation and write the dialog. Then
do it for your classmates. Ask them to
listen and guess who A and B are.

How Accident-Prone Are You?
When someone gets hurt a lot or often has accidents, we say they are
“accident- prone”. How accident-prone are you? Interview several of
your classmates to find out who is the most accident-prone in the class!
