Summer 2014

Dear Friends,

We have paid off our CI mortgage ten years early! At the July board meeting, we celebrated with big
cakes and music by Cherish the Blue, with our own Kendra and Robbie Bryan and our son, Micah
Jones.

Around dark, on that Friday night, after good food and music, some crazy guy from "Mortgage
Busters" who lives in a trailer down by the river, came in with Dragon's Breath, 12 gauge,
magnesium\spitting
fire rounds (legal in
Kentucky) and blew
away our mortgage
papers!

We stand amazed at
How God brought us
the funds to liquidate
this mortgage!

Next Year is Summit! Dr. Jim Wilder will be our speaker and we are asking the Lord to go before us
to prepare our hearts to hear this brilliant man. We are looking forward with great joy to see each one of you
here in Wilmore. We will have lots of fun stuff to do, a big tent, great musical guests and joyful worship.
Check out pg 3 for JOY details!

The COVER Letter
&
We have new missionaries in our CI family! Let me introduce them...

Caitlin Nyby (Ecuador) is teaching at Casa de Fe this
school year. She came to CornerStone for a week of
CrossTraining and we really enjoyed getting to know
her and praying with and for her before she left.
Heather Matthews (Honduras) is our
newest long-term missionary! She is
completing her short-term commitment
at Loma de Luz and will be in the States
for CrossTraining in May 2015. You
will meet her at the July Summit!
John and Bethany Kelly work at Hillside Clinic in the
Toledo District of Belize. He is teaching physical therapy
to students and taking them to surrounding areas for experi-
ence in PT. Some of you at Loma de Luz Hospital may
remember John. He spent a week with you in 2009. So glad
to have him back on the field for this next year.
Changes of note among CI missionaries include:
Rick and Rebekah Estes
(Ecuador) Casa de Fe

Janine Roberts
(Texas, Zimbabwe) had her
visa denied to remain in
Zimbabwe. She spent 3
months in Cape Town,
South Africa seeking the
Lords direction for her
next step. In May, she
returned to the States,
traveled and spoke,
attended a conference at
MTI in Colorado and felt
her next step would be
pursuing a job in the States. She plans to return to Zim once or
twice a year on a visitors visa. She has begun her new job at
Chapelwood UMC in Houston where she will serve as the Di-
rector of Global Missions. Please pray for her in this new sea-
son.
We are beginning our Joy Starts Here book study the end of September
in preparation for Summit 2015you, wherever in the world you aremissionaries..board
membershouse of prayer community. Im hoping to blog with you all as we gowe need each
other. I will send an email soon about how to connect!

This book has been so important to me in the past year. I've only begun learning to respond tenderly
to weakness...to be glad to be with who I'm with...to listen...to live like people are more important
than things...or problems...because they are...to be present where I am...with my mind on what I'm
doing now.

It will be great to share thoughts with you.
