In Richard Dawkin’s book, The God Delusion, he makes the bold claim that God, r any

other type of supernatural phenomenon is scientifically improbable. Throughout his book,

he points out multiple religious fallacies as well as debunks many popular theological

arguments with scientific evidence. Also, he goes further as to show why religion is

horrible for society. He painstakingly breaks down every argument presented with logic.

All in all, the concept of God governing this Earth is scientifically improbable.

One reason the existence of God-like entity is scientifically improbable is that

there is no scientific evidence proving any type of God exists. For example, there is no

definitive evidence on the origin of any type of God. God has never stated how he came

about. It is expected to believe that God has simple always been around, before the

universe, before our planets, before anything. However, this is a scientific improbability

because for God to have created the universe billions of years ago, he would have to be

advanced enough to create the whole universe. And for something that complex to create

something at such a simple time is scientifically impossible. It is like saying a clay pot

made the potter. Something in simple times, like the simplicity of a clay pot, can not

make great advanced things, like a human pot maker. God’s origin has no concreate

beginning and an advanced being like a God cannot exist in simple times, it is

scientifically improbable. Another example is God’s lack of any type of communication

with man. There is not one shread of physical evidence that can not be explained away by

science. For example, god has never personally came down and told a person what he has

planned for the world. Not one person can describe what he looks like, what he sounds

like, or what he wears. Society is expected to believe that God is just there, but no one

can say what he’s doing. God has never given humans any scientific evidence of his
existence. He has never communicated with us, and no one has any idea what he looks

like. This clearly shows that God is scientifically improbable because he has never given

humans anything to hold onto for evidence. It is scientifically improbable that any type of

God exists because there is not one shred of scientific evidence supporting his existence.

Those who believe in a type of supernatural entity suspiciously look at the Earth

and bring up the point that the creatures on Earth are too complex to be created by the

randomness of evolution; so God must of designed them. Yes, this is true, the Earth holds

man complex organisms. It seems convenient that we were “randomly” created happen to

function perfectly. For example, the human arm is a complex system entangled with a

perfectly collaborating system of muscles and bone and nerves and tissues and so on and

so forth. How can this randomly be designed b evolution? What most tend to forget is

that evolution is only one part of the shaping of our existence, that natural selection plays

just as big a role. Yes, evolution is random, but natural selection pin points what an

organism needs to survive by guiding evolution towards adaptations and obstacles. Our

arms are perfectly complex as they are now because natural selection has been fine-

tuning it for millions of years. This argument is actually more benefitial to the

improbable-of-God argument because there is no scientific proof God has designed us.

We are supposedily created in his image, but continue to murder each other and suffer

from many sinful addictions. If God designed us, there is no evidence he tried to make us

may still cling to the intelligent design theory, but one thing is lacking a great deal of

scientific evidence is the Bible. The Bible is God’s holy word. Not only Is society
suppose to follow it to the letter, it unravels the history of god and his son, Jesus. The

bible is full of stories, none backed by scientific evidence. For example God told Noah

that he was going to down the whole world, and to save the animals by gathering them

two-by-two so they can repopulate the world this story is scientifically impossible

because there is no chance that all the animals in the world were within Noah’s ach to

bring them on the arc. He didn’t travel the world looking for them, they just came. Yet it

is impossible for animals who can’t swim to cross bodies of water to get to Noah if they

reside on different continents. Yet this is a key story that society is suppose to believe

happened. There is no evidence that this story even happened. No arc has ever been

recovered. There is no evidence to believe God ever told Noah to save the animals.

Another example is the birth of God’s son, Jesus. The Virgin Mary conceived God’s son,

Jesus through the Holy Spirit. It is a scientific fact that a sperm and an egg have to meet

for a fetus to form. The only way for the sperm and egg to meet is through sex or

implantation by a doctor. Mary did not have sex, hence the name the Virgin Mary; and at

the time, doctors didn’t know how to do the implantation surgery/didn’t even know it

existed. There is no scientific chance that Mary just randomly got pregnant, it is

impossible. Yet this is held up as a story every religious person must believe in. there Is

no evidence that God impregnanted Mary through the holy spirit. Mary is long dead and

cannot corroborate this story. Basically, it is impossible for God to impregnate the Virgin

Mary. Yet it is a key component in the Bible, which ells the “true” story of God. It is a

scientific improbability that a God-like entity exists because his own recorded story is not

possible.
 There is one solution to the god-problem: to expose the lie. God is a powerful idea

that has great power over people. Moving away from the belief in a God will instill more

rationality in people because they aren’t believing the myth. To move away from God, on

has to show the irrationality behind it. The one way this atheistic-concept will be taken

seriously is to show the traps of God and his story.
