Selected Achievements

Obtained funding for key project. Haeger Corporation was installing a new ERP system at the factory and sales offices
in CA, MD, VA, and NC. Budget and timeline were tight. I conducted research in CA to identify a funding source. Secured
$100K in grant to train and support staff in CA. The project was completed under budget and with the staff fully trained.

Eliminated duplicate sales of same product. Hi-Tecs sales managers, customers, and sales agencies needed to see
availability, order status, and sales history of multiple product lines. Created a web based B2B order entry system fully
ERP integrated with real-time time-phased availability. This solved duplicate closed-out product sales based on out-of-
date information. This increase customer and staff satisfaction while saving company time and money.

Developed complete system to handle seasonal product issue. A large retail customer suddenly required Hi-Tec to
handle any seasonal product as a consignment item to be known as Pay by Scan with full EDI integration requirements.
Installed a new system that met the customer needs while increasing Hi-Tecs margin on this $2M product line by 34%.

Created programs to facilitate splitting of company. Hi-Tec decided to institute separate sales forces, discount
structure, order tracking, etc. for its brands on a tight schedule. Developed internal logic programs on existing ERP
system to execute logical split, with both group credit tracking and credit holds easily used by staff. All systems were
converted in record time, saving company time and hundreds of thousands of dollars in ERP system upgrades.

Global CIO, Hi-Tec Sports/Magnum, 1999 to 2011. Reported directly to the president of this footwear and apparel firm.
Managed hardware, software, and global IT staff. Designed complex global B2B real-time system. Directed large scale
build outs of data, design, sales, and distribution centers throughout various markets in the US, Canada, and Asia.
Designed and installed high-speed fiber, wired, and RF networks in multiple facilities. Installed global VOIP phone system.

MIS Director, Haeger Corporation, 1996 to 1999. Converted large national machine manufacturer, with five divisions
encompassing five offices in four states, to single software platform. Managed software selection teams with numerous
types of business processes requirements on this coast to coast implementation.

MIS Director, Taney Stair Corporation, 1993 to 1996. Created action plan for automation of existing 45-acre site of the
second largest stair manufacturer in the US. Designed RF bar-coding system for tracking/receiving raw lumber. Installed
barcode labeling for finish product line. Designed custom stair quoting system.
