Project Profile
This document is developed to provide the insight of the said business with
potential investment opportunity in providing services DAY CARE by Senior
Citizens to cater to the need of the needy families/people.

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY IN THIS SECTOR
1. Government Support
Government is more concern with these kind of such activities and will support
organizations to carry further processing of these kind of projects, also govt.
will help in supporting people in coordination with the NGO for the successful
implementation of such projects.
The following measures will be taken during the Medium Term Development
Framework period:
i) Identification of the families who require such services with the help of some
NGOs and field survey.
ii) Identifying people from old age homes who are willing to do and applicable
to provide such kind of services.
iii) Registration of families and people who provide services to the
families/person will be done including police verification and some vital details.
iv) Deciding price range as per hourly basis of those people who are providing
services.
v) Arrangement of pick and drop facility for senior citizens.
vi) Feedback will be taken over the service provided by the senior citizens from
families.
There is a great need to enhance the traditional / ethical values and
importance/value of senior citizens.

MARKET ENTRY TIMING
As per todays scenario most of the families in the metro city are nuclear and
working class . They face problems in taking care of their children in working
hours, and it is also unsafe to keep their children with their maids/aayas.
Timings are not dependent on any other factor, it is beneficial to start this kind
of projects at any time during the year.
1.4. PROPOSED BUSINESS LEGAL STATUS
The legal status of business tends to play an important role in any setup; the
proposed project of providing DAY CARE services by senior citizens will
operate on Sole Proprietorship basis.

KEY SUCCESS FACTOR
In the todays world people are more concerned with their carrier and generally
left their children at home in care of maids/ aayas, but with that they have to
compromise with ethical/ traditional values what they want in their children
and the other hand senior citizen who are living in old age home feels lonely
and miss their families, grand children, relatives, they want someone with
whom they spent/share their time and traditional values. According to this
project we are trying to fulfill their requirement for ethical or traditional value.
Acoording to the current scenario, there are no other organization/firms
who are offering such kind of services to the needy person
