Integra Ci1 Energy Meter

The Integra Ci1 energy meter is specially designed and
developed as a cost effective Watt hour and VAr hour meter
to complement the current Integra Ci series. The Integra Ci1
self-contained 96mm DIN panel mounted Watt hour, VAr hour
meter measures the real consumption of active and reactive
energy to Class 1.0 accuracy.
The backlit LCD screen displays an eight character
counter indicating Watt hour or VAr hour units. The optional
modules enable transfer of energy measurements to
building management systems (BMS) via pulsed or digital
communication options.
Display
Direct access to display the programmed set CT ratio, Watt hours import and export, VAr hours import
and export and the phase sequence test routine for both voltage and current phases. During the
accumulation of the Wh or VArh the running icon will ash at a rate dependant on the display parameter.
Plug-in Modules
Plug-in modules allow to t either maximum of two isolated pulsed output relays or an RS485
communication module and one isolated pulsed output relay. The communication output module
can be programmed internally to respond either to Modbus RTU or Johnson Controls.
Panel Mounting
Integral retention clips allow fast, safe and secure panel mounting in various material thickness without
the need for external screws or clips.

Programmable Functions
Integra Ci3 Digital Metering System is programmable to suit single-phase two-wire, three-phase three-wire and
three-phase four-wire system congurations. Programmable CT ratios enable to display any current range.
Display
The parameters can be viewed on a backlit LCD screen. The 15 screens are accessible via four buttons on
the front panel allowing to scroll between various screens making the navigation very user-friendly, intuitive and
above all simple.
Plug-in Modules
Integra Ci3 offers two output ports at the rear of the product, to allow the tting of either two isolated pulsed
output relays or a RS485 communication module such as Modbus or Johnson Controls communication
output. These are congurable via internal settings.

Integra 1560 digital metering systems offer an RS485 communication port for direct connection to

Operation
The digital meters are available in 4 module DIN-rail or DIN 72 panel
mounted enclosure and display up to 57 electrical parameters

and frequency values. The simple menu-driven interface offers

262 Series Digital Meters
262 Series LED Digital Indicators
The 262 series are a range of digital panel meters. These meters
are versatile in the their measuring range which includes A.C. and
D.C. current/voltage. Some versions allow display blanking and
hold. The meter front is totally sealed and when panel mounted
with an optional gasket is hose proof to IP66, allowing washing
and use in wet areas, e.g. food industry, quarries, portable test
gear. Other parameters, e.g. Watts, VAr, VA , PF, temperature
etc. may be measured using an additional transducer from our
transducer range.
Panel mounting is quick, with two corner clamps tensioned by
thumb screws or alternatively by a quick-x ratchet. Other than
the frequency versions, these instruments can be powered by a
variety of A.C. or D.C. supplies. Care has been taken to provide
isolation from the measured input signal.

262 Series Digital Meter Relays
The 262-30 series of digital meters offer a highly accurate
and stable measurement solution. Three models are
available: 262-300 is for process control inputs, 262-30T for
temperature inputs and 262-30A for true RMS A.C. voltage
and current.
An internal switched mode power supply caters for a wide
range of A.C. and D.C. auxiliary voltages. The front panel
is sealed to IP65. Readings are displayed on high visibility red LEDs that provide daylight readability. The
display can be set to show a xed number of decimal places and to auto scale to show the maximum
resolution. A simple 3 button user interface allows full conguration via the front panel, which can also
be password protected to prevent tampering. The meter can be used as a stand-alone indicator,
or upgraded using up to two plug-in modules. The optional modules add functionality, such as relay
setpoints, analogue output or Modbus Communications. The modules are easily installed, without the
need for dismantling or re-calibration.

Plug-In Modules
The functionality of the 262-30 series of meter relays can be enhanced with up to two plug-in modules. The
modules offer relay setpoints, analogue output or ModBus communications, which are easily installed, without the
need for dismantling or re-calibration.
262-RLY Dual Relay Output Mode
Two independent setpoint relays are contained in this plug-in module. Connection
is via a 5-way removable tension clamp plug. Since the 262-30 series can accept
two option modules, if two relay modules are tted, four programmable setpoints are
available. All alarms can be inhibited for a time period after power-up.
262-ALG Isolated Analogue Output
This plug-in module can source or sink up to 23mA. The output signal is fully scale-
able, and can be used as a signal isolator or signal level converter on the 262-300, or
as a temperature transducer on the 262-30T. Connection is via a 5-way removable
tension clamp plug. Please note that the 262-30 series will only support one 262-ALG
option module.
262-MOD Modbus Communication Module
This plug-in module enables connection to a RS485 network, which is ideal for use
with PLC systems or industrial PC based systems. The displayed measurement is avail-
able, and the relay setpoint conditions can be monitored. Additionally, all internal
parameters can be read or modied, so that product conguration, scaling and
setpoint settings can all be remotely set up or changed. Connection is via a 5-way
removable tension clamp plug. Please note that the 262-30 series will only support
one 262-MOD option module.

A self-contained energy metering system which is ideal for switchgear, plant instrument
and process control. The range has signicant advantages over the traditional energy
meters with pulsed outputs, communications and direct connection all available as
options.
Innovative two DIN module kWh energy meter such as the DRK-1PPO-240 measure the
real consumption of active energy to Class 2 accuracy with a resolution of 0.1kWh
displayed via a non-zeroing mechanical counter on the front panel. The module is
operated via an internal shunt with pulsed output optically isolated from the power-
supply and load. Ideally suited for environments with Category III over-voltage and level
2 pollution in accordance with IEC EN 61010-1.
Four DIN module kWh energy meter such as the DRK-1PCT-240 or the DRK-3PCT measure
the real consumption of active energy to Class 2 accuracy with a resolution of 1 kWh
displayed via a mechanical counter on the front panel. The module is operated via an
internal current transformer with pulsed output optically isolated from the power supply
and load. The DRK-3PCT-LCD meter has the highest accuracy Class 2 with easy wiring,
back illuminated LCD display, non-zeroing total counter and zeroing partial counter and
is operated via a internal current transformer with pulsed output optically isolated from
the power supply and load.
The DRK-485 concentrator module remotely monitors energy consumption from up to
8 Crompton kWh meters within a 25 metre radius. The device communicates through
a Modbus connection to a computer COM port via a RS485 serial line. Up to 32
concentrator modules can be connected to the RS485 line without the need for signal
ampliers. Up to 247 modules in groups of 32 can be connected when separated by
signal ampliers.
The three DIN module kWh energy meter, DRK-1P-230-D63, measures the real consumption
of active energy. The module meter has the highest accuracy class (1) with easy wiring,
back illuminated LCD display, non-zeroing total counter and partial zeroing counter. This
module passes the load cable through the case allowing up to 63A direct connection.
This seven DIN module kWh energy meter measures the real consumption of active
energy. The module meter has the highest accuracy class (1) with easy wiring, back
illuminated LCD display, non-zeroing total counter and partial zeroing counter. This
module passes the load cable through the case allowing up to 90A direct connection
on a three-phase system.

Crompton 3-in1
A range of 3-in-1 current transformers combines three traditional current transformers in one moulded case.
3-in-1 current transformers can be directly installed next to a three-phase moulded case circuit breaker, thus
saving installation time where tting three standard individual current transformers would be required. The
M3N1 range of current transformers offers primary currents between 60-630A with 5A secondaries with up to
class 0.5 accuracy performance.
Plug-in metal feet, Din-rail clips and busbar mounting options are supplied as standard.

offers wide system current ratings, apertures and case sizes
to suit every application. Manufactured to meet IEC 60044-
1:2003 the range benets include ratio rating from 5/5 to
4000/5, accuracy up to class 0.5, integral terminal cover for
safety and multiple mounting options.
The toroidal core and secondary winding is encapsulated
by a self-extinguishing polycarbonate moulded case cover
providing excellent mechanical strength and electrical
insulation. The material is halogen free thus reducing risk
of halogen emissions in case of re. The integral covered
secondary terminals offer protection to IP20B and the
enclosure is protected to IP40.

Overload protection
250 series ac current protectors provide continuous surveillance of the
monitored circuit. When the current moves outside the set point limit for
longer than the time delay, the relay operates. The protector can be
used to monitor over and under-current conditions, load detection and
for monitoring electric heating systems. An illuminated LED indicates
when the relay is energised. For three-phase systems, the sequence of
connection is not important.

The ac voltage protectors provide continuous surveillance of the
monitored circuit. When the measured voltage moves outside the set
point limit for longer than the time delay, the relay will operate giving
an alarm or initiation signal. The protector can be used for under
and over-voltage detection, start standby generators, operation of
mains failure units and switching standby supplies. An illuminated
LED indicates when the relay is energised. The three-phase, three or
four-wire models, protect each phase independently.

Earth Leakage Relays
Residual current devices are used to detect potentially dangerous
earth fault currents before damage is caused. The 373-ELR earth
leakage protection relay allows the fault current to be continuously
monitored and compared with the user selectable leakage level.
Should the leakage exceed this level, the relay will trip to indicate
a fault condition. With a very fast response time of under 40ms, the
supply can be disconnected before serious damage can occur.

Crompton Moving Iron AC Ammeters and Voltmeters
Designed to measure ac current or voltage, these meters indicate
true RMS values and are substantially independent of system
waveform. Scales are calibrated down to 20%, and ammeters can
have overload scales of x2, x3, x5 or x6 for motor start duty. Ammeters
can be supplied for use with -/1A or -/5A current transformers, whilst
voltmeters can be scaled for use with voltage transformers. Heavy
damping is available as an option. Meters can be used to measure
dc at reduced accuracy.

Power Transducer
Power Transducer
A wide range of transducers to measure all forms of power, in single or 3 phase balanced or unbalanced, 3
or 4 wire systems. These Transducers utilise the well proven time division multiplication method of measuring
instantaneous power over a wide range of input waveforms. In the self-powered version the system voltage
provides both power supply and an input to the voltage modulation circuit of an oscillator. Square wave pulses
from a multi-vibrator circuit with a mark-space ratio varied by the measured voltage, and amplitude varied by
the measured current, are fed to an integrator and an output amplier circuit. The D.C. milliamp signal produced
is therefore directly proportional to the power input. All inputs are isolated by the use of transformers. For large
voltage variations use the auxiliary powered versions. Self-powered units permit voltage variations up to +20% of
the nominal input. Measures both import and export power.
