Introduction

Dubai is one of the seven Emirates (states) that joined together in 1971 to form the United
Arabic Emirates (UAE). The other members are Abu Dhabi (the capital), Ajman, Fujairah,
Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain (each Emirate is named after its main city).

Favourable business conditions and shrewd investment decisions have led to Dubai
Becoming one of the Gulfs most successful and rapidly expanding economic environments
And Dubai is now firmly established as the business, financial and commercial hub of the
region it is a prosperous and diverse market and the employment growth required to match
its expansion provides excellent opportunities for both clients and candidates.

Indeed, Dubai has the fastest growing population in the world and is home to an exciting,
diverse, multi-cultural blend of young, dynamic, professional people all enjoying the unrivalled
Quality of life the Emirate has to offer. People are drawn to the City as much for lifestyle
reasons as for the outstanding employment prospects on offer.

Dubai is the most popular city and Emirates in the Untied Arabic Emirates, capital is
Abu Dhabi.




Dubai is located on the southeast coast of Persian Gulf.
Abu Dhabi and Persian gulf are the only two emirates to have vote power over critical
matters of national umportance in the country legislature.

Today Dubhai has emirates emerged as a cosmopolitan metropolis that has grown steadily
cultural hub of the middle East and the person Gulf region .Dubhai has recently attractive
attentation through innovative construction and sport events.

In 2014 Dubai is hotel rooms were roted as the second most expensive in the world ofter
genera.

Dubai was rated as one of the best, places to live in the middle egst by American Global
Consulting firm mercer.

In 2014 Dubai and United Arabic Emirates as a whole was ranked first in the Middle East
interns of women in rights.

Transportation

Transport in Dubai is controlled by the Roads and Transport Authority. The government has invested heavily
in Dubai's road infrastructure; this has not kept pace with the increasing number of vehicles.

Road
The system of public bus transportation in
Dubai is run by the Roads and Transport
Authority. The bus system services has 140
routes and transported over 109 million
people. Dubai Taxi Corporation operates the
taxi services as part of the Roads and
Transport Authority. The DTC taxis are easily
identifiable with their cream color.







Air
International, the center of the airline
Emirates, Dubai Airport serves the city of Dubai and other emirates in the country. Emirates Airlines is the
national airline of Dubai. Operated internationally serving 101 destinations in 61 countries on six continents.
Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International is the world's largest airport with five runways, four
terminal buildings.

Metro railway
Currently consists of two lines running through the
major financial and residential areas of the city. The
Metro system is the second cheapets metro
transportation system in the world after Tehran
Metro in Iran. The Dubai Metro is the firts urban
train network that run without driver and rely on
automatic navigation.






Channels
There are two major commercial ports in Dubai, Port Rashid and Port Jebel Ali. Jebel Ali Port is the port the
world made by man, the biggest port in the Middle East.
One of the most traditional methods of getting across Bur Dubai to Deira is open, small boats that ferry

Real estate, construction, trade, and financial company are the largest contributors to Dubai's economy.
Dubai export destinations are India, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia. Main sources of imports of the emirate are
India, China and the United States. Dubai has a free trade in gold.
Dubai is also a hub for service industries such as information technology and finance, with specific industry
free zones throughout the city.
The Dubai Financial Market was established as a secondary market for trading in both local and foreign
stocks.Dubai real estate is known worldwide because of its luxurious buildings, the rapid growth and quick
returns. Dubai is also known as the City of Gold, a major part of is based on Gold trades in Dubai.

Dubais Education as in other countries has 4 levels_
Kindergarten, primary, secondary and university.

The language used in the schools is Arabic with emphasis on English as a second language.

History of Dubai Educational System
The educational system in Dubai is a four-tier system covering fourteen years of education, from the primary
to the secondary. It is highly notable that the primary and the secondary education are offered free for every
citizen of UAE. The Ministry of Education of the UAE government works closely on the educational policies,
syllabus and studies performed in every institution at all levels.
Nurseries in Dubai
Nursery education in Dubai starts at a very small age. Children of eighteen months to two years are admitted
to these schools. The teachers adopt various Montessori methods of instruction, however, basic English
language speaking skills are developed in students of this age group. Students are also prepared for admission
in kindergarten.
Kindergarten
Children of 4 to 5 years are admitted to Kindergarten. Special care is taken while teaching English, Arabic,
Mathematics, Music and Art. The notable thing in this education system is that Religion is also a part of the
syllabus. The students are taught their respective religion in order to have a broad view in every sphere of life.

Primary

After completing kindergarten, students are
admitted to primary school. These students are
generally of six years or around. The primary
education lasts six years. English is the primary
language of instruction in most of the primary
schools in Dubai. But many other schools of Dubai
teach in Arabic and also in some foreign languages
such as French, Hindi and even Russian. A wide
range of foreign curriculum such as the British or
the Japanese is also seen. Some schools take
entrance tests during admission. The British
schools start their sessions in the month of
September while the other schools start theirs in
April. A variety of uniforms is observed for
various schools. The school timings are from 8 in
the morning till 2 pm. There are two or three
breaks in between.
Some private primary schools conduct entrance
tests. Most of the private schools in Dubai cater to
expatriate communities. Delhi Private School, Our Own English High School, the Dubai Modern High
School, and the The Indian High School offer Indian syllabus. Jumeirah Primary School, Jebel Ali Primary
School, King's School and the Horizon School offer British primary education up to the age of eleven. Dubai
English Speaking School and Jumeirah English Speaking School are the first choice for many expatriates.

Secondary

Students, after completing their primary education are generally admitted to the secondary or high schools for
further education. A number of international schools are also a part of Dubai. They follow syllabi ranging
from the Indian CBSE to the British Cambridge system. The students have to spend three years in secondary
school.

For GCSE and A-Level programs (British Schooling), Dubai British School, Dubai College, Dubai Gem
Private School, English College Dubai, Jumeirah College, and St. Mary's Catholic High School are the best
choices.

For GCSE, IGCSE and IB, The Emirates International School, Wellington School and Cambridge
International High School offer a combination of GCSE, IGCSE, and IB courses to the expatriate
community.

For CBSE (Indian Curriculum), Cambridge International and St. Mary's are popular choices for the Indian
expatriate community.

Moreover, The International School of Choueifat and Emirates International School offer both British and
American curricula.

A growing number of K-12 schools, like The American School of Dubai (ASD), which is located in Jumeirah
and Dubai American Academy (DAA) in Al Barsha offer the American syllabus. ASD offers an accredited
American high school diploma; DAA offers both an American-accredited high school diploma and the
International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. There are also some primary and high schools that offer Canadian
and Japanese syllabi.

Most of the expatriates send their children to either back to their home country or to western countries for
university education. Dubai nationals can attend government tertiary-level institutions free of charge. On
other note, a number of foreign and local accredited universities have been set up in Dubai in the past decade.

Food.
The most popular food in dubai is of arabic origin and is available everywhere in the city.
fast food, south asian and chinese cuisines are also very popular and are widely available.
everything in the city is regulated, from the consumption and sale of pork to the sale of
alcoholic beverages; liquor license is required to purchase alcohol. however, the sale of
alcoholic beverages laid is available in restaurants; in hotels that tourists visit and that the
inhabitants of that country visit also. dubai is to the liquor laws. biryani is also a popular
cuisine place in dubaidue to the variety of food from different countries that they prepare.
one de most typical food in dubai is the shawarma.






Dress & Etiquette.
Dubai style of clothing is islamic but isnt mandatory. most men prefer to use an emirates
kandura, is a white shirt to the ankles woven from wool or cotton, and women wear an
abaya is a black over-garment covering most parts of the body. each dress is adapted to the
warm, dry weather. one of the advantages of these dresses is sunlight is reflected and layer
colors look during winters.

Dubai most practiced sports.




The most popular sports in the emirate include football, golf, tennis, cricket and rugby.
However, other sports became more important in Dubai thanks to the economic
development of its citizens, such as the golf. In fact, the Dubai Desert Classic is a golf
tournament which attracts several professional golfers around the world . Similarly, the
popularity of tennis has risen in recent years, so that since 1993 the capital hosts the
tournament in Dubai, one of the most important annual competitions in the sport, the
Association circuit of Tennis Professionals.
Football or futbol1 (British English football), also known as football, is a team sport played
between two teams of eleven players each and some referees dealing with the rules are
properly followed. It is widely considered the most popular sport in the world, practiced by
about 270 million people.
Golf is a precision sport aimed at introducing a ball into holes that are distributed in the
field with the fewest strokes, using every type of shot one of a slightly different set of sticks
together, as the clubhead is different as are the rods have different lengths degrees. A
smaller number of degrees, greater length of the rod and hence more distance. A maximum
can carry 14 clubs. Who practice golf is called golfer.
Tennis is a racquet sport that is played on a rectangular court enclosed by lines and divided
by a red. it is disputed between two players (singles) or between two pairs (doubles). The
object of the game is to throw a ball hitting the racket of a form that bounces theopponent
and make sure of they can not throw it back.

My Recommendation is to make Dubai desert tour tourist and Day trip to the East coast for Main Public and
