statement& our media "enter mission statement& and the Je$$erson County

In the last $ive years Carver re"eived grant money $rom the "ommunity in
s"hools and !ur"hased #uite an amount o$ te"hnology, There is at least one
A"tivoard in $irst grade& t'o in $ourth grades& and one in $i$th grades, The
se"ond and third grades have not re"eived one yet, To assess our needs& I
as-ed ea"h grade "oordinator to "om!lete Carver.s /eeds Assessment
survey, Ea"h tea"her res!onded that an A"tivoard is needed in the se"ond
and third grades so that students in all grades 'ill e $amiliar 'ith them, I
intervie'ed at least 2 students $rom ea"h grade to see i$ they -ne' o$ any
te"hnology needed $or their s"hool, The students 'ere not sure 'hat 'as
needed& they thought everything 'as $ine& they did state that they en0oyed
'hen the tea"hers used the A"tivoard& e"ause it 'as li-e loo-ing at
television, Also this summer the te"hnology "oordinator !ur"hased t'o
do"ument "ameras $or ea"h s"hool and as media s!e"ialist& I $eel that there
is a need $or more do"ument "ameras to enhan"e instru"tion in the
"lassroom as 'ell as the media, Though our s"hool is small& 'e o'n a de"ent
