Prayer Support a gift that can only come from you. A gift that gives Gods support and love in all areas needed. THANK YOU for all of the prayer support lifted up for my knee surgery and recovery. Thank you for the cards and then, when I came home, for meals. St. Johns family is truly a family filled with the Holy Spirit in all areas. May God continue to wrap us in His Love. Connie Hagstrom P.S. -- Pastor David came to see me while I was in therapy in Omaha. I am sure that we all agree that when our pastors visit us in the hospital, it is just as if God walked into the room. Thank you, Pr. David. You are loved!

LIFE OF CHRIST Class on the Four Gospels 9:45am Bethany Room
This study is set up to use the Synopsis of the Four Gospels, a book that gives the reader a topical study of each story that is written in the gospels. For Example: if a particular story about Jesus is found in both Matthew and Luke, the synopsis presents both versions of the story, side by side, so they can be read at the same time and examined. If you would like a copy of this book, please contact the church office. The price (discounted) is now $31.50. Pastor David also uses small group discussion and visualization of the Biblical Story in the art of the church to encourage conversations about the texts.
TIDY UP GROUP Meets next Monday, Oct. 6, @ 9 am. Bring your cleaning weapons of choice!
A BIG THANKS to all those who helped with Folks & Forks! At last count, $8,977.15 was raised for Nebraska Lutheran Campus Ministry in Norfolk, with additional items from the silent auction waiting to be picked up.

Come join us for a time of thanksgiving, blessing, and celebration for those who live with us as our trusted companions and friends- our pets! Plan on being a part of this special activity of worship, blessing, and fellowship! Cats, dogs, fish, birds, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, horses, goats, chinchillas, snakes, chickens, ducks, geese, lizards, newts: you bring it, we will bless it!
