How to fix crashes of L4D2 to the desktop (CTD)

Fix 1 : There are two possible solutions that might do the trick. First one would be to turn
off the gore in the game to do so right click on the Left4Dead executable and click
properties. !lick on "et Launch #ptions$ and add %l& at the end of the line.
'nother solution( offered b) a moderator on the "team forums( is to close "team and go
to the steamapps folder in the "team installation folder. Delete the files *left 4dead
client.ncf+ and *left 4 dead common.ncf+( restart "team( right click on L4D and
install.
