THE DREAM OF A JEWISH STATE
On page 15 of the 17 January 1896 edition of the London Jewish Chronicle, the editorial is
buried, modestly, beneath advertisements: "Herbert Hanks,Worth its Weight in Gold." The editorial is entitled The
Dream of a Jewish State. It follows the publication, elsewhere in the newspaper, of extracts of Theodor Herzl's new book,
Der Judenstaat (The Jewish State)."We find it ourselves hard to accept these gloomy prognostications. We hardly anticipate

Mila, the non-Jewish Russian immigrant, now living in Gedera: "I am not a Jew, no. But when I sing songs in class
about love for the land of Israel, it's just like in Russia when we would have moments of love for our homeland. Then when I
hear the songs and spoke with older Arabs, my heart hurts and I start to cry." EYES WIDE OPEN
The closing quote, on Israel's 60th anniversary, goes to a young woman, who appears in
Paula Weiman-Kelman's documentary, Eyes Wide Open. For a year, Ms Weiman-Kelman followed American Jews as
they visited Israel. Towards the end of the film, a young, articulate woman comes out with this sweet solipsism: "I would
love to be non-conflicted about this place." Quite.

Murder of Benazir Bhutto on 27th December 2007
Was planned and executed under direct supervision of American
President Bush (II), Condoleezza Rice and their Junta
1. America has an undisputed history of looking after its national interest through
pitching its allies against each other. America has been supporting Q Muslim League (General
Musharraf) and MQM with its leader stationed at London, Chaudhry Brothers (Ch. Shujjat Hussain and
Ch. Pervaiz Elahi) and PPP.
2. MQM’s main adversary has been PPP. There has been no time when each of
them did not claim to be the sole representative of people of Sindh. The basis of MQM was the bulk
immigration from India at the time of independence of Pakistan. Once established at the capital MQM
proceeded to secure the hold of, initially Hyderabad and then the entire Sindh. Larkana was the centre of
activity of Shahnawaz Bhutto, father of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed. It was Larkana (Garhi Khuda
Baksh) which became the hub of political activity and the burial place of Bhutto dynasty.
President Bush (II) and its Junta has all along been operating on both
levels of diplomacy i.e. open as well as behind the scene
1. In open diplomacy each one of the three referred political forces was
advised to assist and cooperate with each other on the basis of common objective of the so called demo-
cracy where as in behind the scene diplomacy each one of the three referred political parties advised how
to ensure that their own interest was not jeopardized in the so called cooperation in the common political
objective. The overriding factor was always the national interest of America and its allies.
2. The main worry of Israel, America, Britain, German and G8 countries
was to contain and destroy Iran. Benazir, on her return after eight years of self exile as per open
diplomacy was given an historic reception at Karachi on 18th October 2007.
The entire world was watching the waves after waves
of dancing supporters.
IT LOOKED THAT NOT ONLY KARACHI AND SINDH BUT THE ENTIRE COUNTRY WAS BROUGHT IN TO
PROVE THAT BENAZIR WAS AN UNCHALLENGED FORCE.
That was the moment when behind the scene diplomacy passed the feeler,
“that only she could save the world by joining Israel and Iraq’s attack on Iran. She proved her
greatness by declining the suggestion on basis of her religion. Entire world knew that though she
was a non-practicing Shia yet she could not stoop so low. This led President Bush (II) and its
Junta to give green signal to various individuals who were entrusted to switch off the electricity
at the point of scene, presentation of a plastic child wrapped in PPP’s flag and the linked actions.
Benazir Shaheed had mentioned these points in her speeches and writings.

What is the underlying cause? Why was the “Christian club” formed?

Crusade Wars started, after 9/11/2001 by the unfortunate Bush, continues even today
i.e. 2008, seven years after the incident which according to some was planned and executed by Israeli
agents who saved Israelis working in Twin Towers and en-cashed the disappearance of those who
could not either get out in time or could not be informed.

Africa in the name of “democracy” who is the greatest hurdle in the way of Turkey becoming member

for 3 years, Hamas ambush in Northern Gaza killed 3 Israeli troops. That sparked the Israeli airstrike near
Bureij refugee Camp leaving 5 children among 11 people killed. A cameraman’s car was targeted by Israeli
Tank. At least 100 people were killed during operation launched by Israel in early March.

In the referred dangerous warfare included a Reuters cameraman among 3

killed by Israeli troops east of Gaza City. An air strike on a car also killed one Palestinian near
Beit Lahyia in the north of strip. It is hard to say whether the recent spike in Israeli Military, near Beit Lahyia
Since then, casualty figures had dwindled in Gaza with Egypt attempting to broker some sort of ceasefire, the
BBC's Tim Franks reports. Now the chances of that appear slimmer than ever, our Middle East correspondent
says. Wednesday's highest death-toll came when Israel launched air-strikes near the Bureij camp. According to
Hamas, Israeli helicopters launched four missiles. Earlier, three Israeli soldiers were killed and three wounded
when Hamas gunmen approached the security fence near the Nahal Oz crossing, Israel's army said. The deaths
were Israel's highest daily toll in the area since 2006. Pursuing two Hamas fighters who had planted a bomb,
the soldiers were ambushed by a second Hamas group lying in wait, Israel's military said. Hamas said it had
mounted a "sophisticated ambush".

'Dangerous warfare'
In other violence throughout the day, a Reuters cameraman was among three
killed when his car exploded, apparently after being hit by an Israeli tank shell. Fadel Shana, 23, was killed
along with two bystanders after he got out of a car marked "TV" and "Press" in central Gaza, the agency
reports. media, photographers and other uninvolved individuals in areas of warfare is extremely dangerous and
poses a threat to their lives," he told Reuters. Film recovered from his camera shows an Israeli tank opening fire
several hundred metres away, Reuters adds. It goes blank about two seconds after the shell is fired - apparently
at the moment it hit the car. An Israeli military official later expressed regret at the cameraman's death.

The presence of Lengthy campaign?

In other fighting on Wednesday, four Hamas militants were killed by Israeli

BASRA SECURITY LEADERS REMOVED

The Iraqi government has replaced the commanders of the army and
police forces in the southern city of Basra. The move comes weeks after an assault that aimed to disarm
Shia militias in the city. The operation was criticised by US commanders as poorly planned and failed to
achieve its stated aims. (It, being based on purchasing of loyalties, had to fail!!, Comments by

It ended when Iranian officials brokered a deal that took the militias off the
streets but allowed them to keep hold of their weapons. The Iraqi government says that the police chief
and the army commander in Basra are not being fired, but they are being moved back to Baghdad. Both
Maj-Gen Abduljalil Khalaf and Gen Mohan Furaiji have been in the city for six months. Both men have
been praised by the British and American military and both have survived assassination attempts.

DESERTIONS
The BBC's Baghdad correspondent Crispin Thorold says the men are leaving
Basra at a time when the security forces there are being criticised. Army chief Gen Mohan was the
architect of the recent operations in Basra. He recommended the plan to Prime Minister Nouri Maliki.
That operation ground to a halt when the army faced considerable resistance from the
militias, including the Mehdi army loyal to Shia cleric Moqtada Sadr .

Since the operation, about 1,600 Basra police officers have either been discharged,

see out his 10-year sentence in the UK, officials say.
Stephen Jenkins, 58, from Yorkshire, is being held in Delhi's crowded Tihar jail after being
convicted in 2006. Prison officials say he wants to die in his homeland. The UK says arrangements for
his transfer are nearly complete. Jenkins will be among the first inmates to benefit under a 2005 India-

Turkey's air force has launched fresh bombing raids against

separatist Kurds in northern Iraq, the state news agency Anatolian said.
Several Turkish air force jets began the raids late on Thursday night, reports
said. The strikes targeted Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerrillas based in the northern Iraqi region of
Qandil. Turkey has staged several cross-border raids into northern Iraq over the past few months in
pursuit of the rebels. In February, Ankara launched a week-long ground offensive in northern Iraq
which, it said, targeted bases used by up to 3,000 Kurdish rebels as a springboard for attacks
across the border. It accuses Iraq of failing to stop the PKK - who are fighting for greater autonomy in
south-eastern Turkey - from using the area as a safe haven. The PKK is branded a terrorist organisation
by Turkey, the US and EU. More than 30,000 people have been killed since it began its armed campaign

ASIAN BANK IN FOOD CRISIS WARNING

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has warned that the crisis of rising
food prices could reverse gains made in reducing poverty across the continent.
Bank president Haruhiko Kuroda warned at its annual meeting in Madrid that
"the cheap food era may be over". Donor countries have pledged more than $11bn (£5.5bn) to a fund to ease
the hardship of Asia's poorest people. Meanwhile, the African Development Bank has pledged an extra $1bn
for its loans portfolio to tackle the food crisis.
UN SHORTFALL
The BBC's Alan Johnston says food prices are the key issue on the minds of the
thousands of government officials and business figures who have gathered in Madrid. ADB president Mr
Kuroda said it was critically important to provide financing for development projects in rural Asian areas. He
said that progress made in the great effort to lift millions out of poverty could be reversed.

GERMANY JAILS ATTACKER

A German court has jailed a Muslim of Afghan origin for three and a half years for
stabbing an Orthodox Jewish rabbi in the stomach in the street.
The court in the south-western city of Frankfurt convicted Sajed Aziz, 23, of
grievous bodily harm. Witnesses said he had shouted anti-Semitic insults at the victim, Rabbi Zalman Gurevitch,
43. The case sparked a discussion in Germany about whether there were no-go areas for Jews in some cities.
Passing the sentence, Judge Klaus Drescher said there had not been enough evidence to support the original charge
of attempted manslaughter. However, he noted that Aziz had clearly called Mr Gurevitch a "Jewish pig". Aziz
admitted in court that he had stabbed his victim on a Frankfurt street on 7 September 2007 but called it self-defence,
saying Mr Gurevitch had grabbed him by the collar. The rabbi said Aziz had first shouted anti-Semitic slurs at him,
then plunged a nearly three-inch (7-cm) blade into his lower abdomen.

FATHER ABUSED HER DAUGHTER FOR 24 YEARS

A lodger at the Austrian house where a father allegedly imprisoned and abused his
daughter says he saw another man go to the cellar where the abuse happened.

Alfred Dubanovsky told the BBC the man was introduced as a plumber. His
claim contradicts those of investigators who say the father, Josef Fritzl, had no accomplice. Police say Mr Fritzl's
daughter, Elisabeth, was imprisoned and sexually abused by her father in the cellar for 24 years, in the town of
Amstetten. Seven children were born from the abuse, three of whom remained incarcerated with her,

Cumbria police said the drugs were discovered when two Lorries trying to enter
the UK at the port of Harwich in Essex were stopped and searched. Seven men have been arrested and addresses
in Cumbria, Lancashire, Lincs and Nottinghamshire are being searched as part of an on-going operation. The two
vehicles are believed to have come from Holland and were targeted as part of a long-running investigation. Police in
Cumbria, Lancashire and HM Customs say drugs were only found in one of the lorries, but both vehicles are

TORNADO WRECKS CENTRAL US TOWNS

Tornadoes and severe
severe storms have swept across the central part of the United
States, causing destruction and killing at least 21 people.
A tornado severely damaged the north-eastern Oklahoma town of Picher
before hitting the Missouri town of Seneca 15 miles (24km) away. At least six people died
in Picher, 14 in Missouri and one in Georgia. An emergencies official in Picher said a 24-street area of
the town had been "virtually destroyed". Michelann Ooten warned that the death toll could climb as
rescuers sifted through the rubble looking for survivors. Television images showed overturned cars,
homes ripped from their foundations and trees stripped of their leaves.
Mr Henry, who plans to visit the area later on Sunday, said a major emergency
response was under way. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Picher and all of the other

A US businessman has testified he gave envelopes full of cash to Israel's prime
minister but said he did not seek or receive any favours in return.
Morris Talansky told an Israeli court he did not know how the money was
spent, but linked it to Ehud Olmert's "love" of "expensive" luxury goods. Police are
investigating whether the PM took up to $500,000 (£250,000) in bribes or illegal campaign donations. Mr Olmert
says sums from Mr Talansky were legal campaign contributions. Mr Talansky made his claim during testimony
under oath at the request of prosecutors, before his expected return to the United States. "I gave [Mr Olmert] cash in
envelopes," the millionaire campaign fundraiser said, according to a transcript of the hearing. "I asked him why I
couldn't write a cheque and he said it's because of the way the money is channelled." When asked how the money
was spent by Mr Olmert, Mr Talansky said: "I only know that he loved expensive cigars. I know he loved pens,
watches. I found it strange." Criticism Mr Talansky has already said that he gave Mr Olmert money for more than

An American sniper has been sent home from Iraq for using a copy of the Koran
for
for target practice at a shooting range near Baghdad, the US military says.
The Muslim holy book was found riddled with bullet holes last week by Iraqi
police, who also discovered offensive graffiti inside its cover. A US military spokesman
said the soldier had been removed from his unit, sent home, and would be disciplined. He was unnamed,
but was reportedly a staff sergeant in a sniper section.
