In the ten days of my observations in Catanauan Central School I was still in the grade 3
classroom. I observed that Mr. Noriel Nepomuceno know how to motivate the pupils to have a
interest in their work. I observed that the motivation is important to the pupils because if there
are no motivation in pupils there will be no interest in the lesson that the teacher teaches. I
observed too the reinforcement of the teacher on every answer of the student, like when the
student answer to the questions of the teacher the teacher have a reinforcement to their answer. I
think that reinforcement is important to the pupils because some pupils have motivate to answer
because of the reinforcement give by the teacher to them.

On the eleven days of my observation in grade 3 pupils I gave them a cloze test because it
is require to us that make a cloze test to the pupils. I observed that when their answering the
cloze test that I gave to them, some of the pupils have a difficult to answer. The pupils took my
cloze test are 55 pupils. Half of them have passed to the exam and half of them are failed. Its
good that half of them have passed to the test.

In the last day of my observation I still in grade 3 classrooms I conduct a dictation test to
the pupils because it is said to have a dictation test in our assessment. I observed that the grade 3
pupils have difficult when it come to dictation test because there have difficult in the spelling and
there are 55 pupils that took the dictation test. The pupils are grade 3 pupils so that they have not
known how to write the dictation of teacher not like the other higher grade to them like in the
grade 6. Im happy that I gave them a dictation test, they are thankful because there said that it is
the first time that they have a dictation test to them. I hope that in the year that comes they have
master the dictation and can have a good spelling talent.

REFLECTION
The twelve days of my observations in Catanauan Central School I not just observing to
different teacher but Im learning too through different teacher. I learned that when it comes to
teaching there must have a classroom management to manage your own classes. I learned a
different classroom management from grade 2 to grade 3. I thought that the teaching profession
is easy, but now I realized that it is hard profession when you are a teacher because you have to
have a different technique and principles that must have to apply in the field of teaching. The
teaching profession is hard but it is enjoyable and happy in the sense that when you are teaching
to the pupils you have filled their knowledge by your lesson. I learned a lot through my
observation. I hope that when I am in the field of teaching I can apply the principles and
techniques that teach in our education courses. And I hope that my pupils and co-teacher are like
the pupils that I observed in Catanauan Central School.
