Dear Asst. Prof. Jayabal:
I am writing to you regarding manuscript AEAT-02-2014-0022 entitled
"Computational analysis of subsonic flow in aircraft engine intake with
auxiliary air intake configuration" which you submitted to the Aircraft
Engineering and Aerospace Technology.
I have decided to reject your submission because it does not conform to the
format standards required for the review process of the AEAT Journal.
Specific things to look for are:
* the manuscript title should not exceed 8 words
* a properly formatted and complete Abstract section is expected
* all acronyms within the Abstract and Conclusion sections must be defined
* the Abstract and Conclusion sections should be written in prose, and, free
of bullet points, figures, tables and equations
* the layout of the manuscript is single column
* do not number or label any section or sub-section headings
* insert text between section and sub-section headings
* table and figure captions need to be presented correctly and placed in the
stipulated position above the table or figure; in addition, ensure the table
or figure is presented directly after the paragraph in which it is cited
* number all equations and ensure all symbols are legible
* axes for all charts should display the units
* remove all borders around figures
* the resolution and clarity of figures and equations should be high
* the number of figures should be limited to no more than 15
* order all entries in the References section alphabetically according to
first author surname; adopt the Harvard standard when citing all references
within the manuscript body
* the Nomenclature section should have units displayed for all symbols
* check spelling, syntax and grammar
* double-check the PDF generated version coincides with your original
manuscript
Please read the template standard thoroughly (see attachment) and do not
deviate from the requirements given by it.
I invite you to resubmit a version that fully complies with the Journal
ready-for-review formatting requirements.
