THE NAROK COUNTY FINANCE BILL,2014
A Bill of the County Assembly of Narok to provide for the revenue raising measures
of the County Government of Narok for 2014, and for connected purposes
MADE by the Narok County Assembly
Short title and
commencement
1. (1) This bill may be cited as the Narok County Finance Act
2014.
(2) This bill shall comes into operation on such a date as the county
Executive Committee member for Finance with the concurrence of
the Governor may appoint and different dates may be appointed for
different provisions.
Interpretation 2. In this bill, unless the context otherwise requires:
Property rates The revenue raising measures of the county government
relating to property rates.
Trade licences The revenue raising measures of the county government
relating to trade licences.
Other fees and charges The revenue raising measures of the county
government relating to fees and charges for services.

"Zone A" includes all towns and areas including Narok Town, Olulunga
Town, EnengiaNgare, Ntulele, Lolgorian, Kilgoris, Enoosaen,
EmuruaDikirr,Nyangusu and Masai Mara National Reserve;
Zone A" includes all towns and areas excluding all towns and areas within
these areas comprising Zone A;
