THE DOGON TRIBE AND PEOPLE

The Dogon people are located in Bandiagara and Doventza in Mali. According to Ms.
Meyerows the Southern Bank of the Upper Niger is also the Dogon territory, therefore the Koromantse
may also possess some of the Sirius lore themselves. However they live in plains, cliffs and plateau
topographical regions. Theres 100,000 members in the tribe there cave and hillside dwellers who
occupy the Homburi Mountain near Timbuktu is southeast Mali in West Africa. Thus, with a residential
population of 3,000 in the Sandstone cliffs this runs from southwest to the northeast, parallel to the
Niger River, and attains heights up to 600 meter (2,000 ft). Also, there are 700 Dogon villages with 500
inhabitants.

Consequently, the Dogon migrated to the Bandiagara Cliffs of Central Mali due, to droughts or
fleeing invaders. The Toloy Culture (3rd-2nd Century BC) and the Tellem culture (11th -15th Centuries
A.D) was believed to live at the Bandiagara Cliffs prior to the Dogons.

The Dogons are believed to be descendants of the Egiptian, They migrated from Libya and settle
in Mali, West Africa bringing with them astronomy legends that have existed before 3200 BC.

Furthermore, The Dogon have 78 different types of ritual mask, the Iconographic messages of
the Dogons go beyond the aesthetic into the realm of religion and philosophy. The Kananga mask
contains geometric patterns. Theses masks represent the first human beings. The Dogon believes that
the Dama Dance creates a bridge into the supernatural world. Without the Dama Dance, the dead

The Sirius tradition is embedded in the language and culture, custom of the Akan. According to,
Credo Mutwa The Bakwama people of Lesotho has a connection with the Ancient Egiptian. The Bantu
ethic group uses the prefix ba some of them uses Ma, The Akans also uses the prefix ba which is
translated as child if you was to combine the word Ba with Ntu which is pronounce as Ba-Ntu the
translation would be Children of Ntu, Ntu could be used as a reference of the Egiptian Goddess. In the
Akan Language the word Mma has the same meaning of Mba which means Children. However, if one
would combine the word Ba-Mba-Ra the translation would be The children of Ra, Ra is the Egiptian Sun
God. The Batak is an ethic group with several sub groups. If you were to break down the word Batak in
the Akan/Twi language Batak would be define as, children of Tak or people of Tak the word Tak is
interchangeable with Dak; Tak and Dak are a code use as a reference to the Warrior being from Sirius.
Barak is related to the Beings from Sirius. Barak is a part of two politician names, Ehud Barak (former
Prime Minister of Israel) and Barak Obama. When the Barak is broken down youll get three syllables
Ba-Ra-Ka could be translated as children of Ra-Ka is referred to the Sirius being Ra and Ka is believed to
be reptilians. Therefore, Barak could be translated as, "childrens of the Sirius-Reptilians or "People of
the Sirius-Reptilians.

Dogon civilization emerged in the same manner as the ancient Sumer, both sharing tales of
creation by gods who came from the sky in spaceships, who allegedly will return one day. The people
who are referred as Dogon or Dogom were known as Habe in older literature which is a Fulse word
meaning Stranger of Pagan .

There 3 principle cults among the Dogons which are; Awa, Lebe and Binu. The Awa, engage
themselves in Dance ceremonies which lead souls to the decreased. Lebe cult is led by a Hogon priest,
thus cult represent the Earth God and agriculture cycle. Totemic practice associated with ancestral
worship, spirit communication and agricultural sacrifices were implicated by Binu cult.

The Dogon says their astronomical knowledge was given to them by Nommos, is mentions in the
Cuneiform tablets, creatures similar to the Nommo were noted in ancient civilizations such as: Sumer,
Babylonias oannes, Acadias Ea, Sumer Enki, and Egipts Goddess Isis.

During the mid-1900s the priest had revealed a secret about the star Sirius which is 8.6 light
years from Earth. The Priest stated that there was a companion star that was invisible to the human eye.
The companion star is called Sirius A, Sirius A wasnt seen through a telescope prior to 1862 and was not
photograph until 1970.
The Dogon name for Sirius B was Po Tolo which is as the smallest star to their
acknowledgement. Po means the smallest seed and Tolo means star. In 1926 western scientist had
discovered Po (the tiny star) as having very great density. This star was categorize as Sirius B,
astronomers have estimated that a single cubic metre of it matter weights about 20,000 tons. According
to the Dogons Claims, Po is composed of a super dense metal called Sagala which they declare is
heavier than all the iron on Earth. Sirius C which is the third star describe by the Dogon in which they
name Emme Ye, havent been identified by astronomers yet. This star is larger and lighter than Sirius B.

Togu Na, meaning House of words is a male social center in the Dogan village may have been
the place where the Dogon learn how to interpret their four calendars which are The Sun calendar,
Moon calendar, Sirius B and the Venus calendar. The Dogon was one of the earliest people to know that
the planet orbits the sun.
The Dogon are believed to either be apart or associated with the Akans Group. Here is some
additional information in regards of their interactions with one another.

In 1730 Osei Tuto fought a bloody battle at koromante, Osei Tuto and his expedition had
defeated and driven the Akyem across the Pra. 1729 MD Anville had drawn a map that depict the
Koromatin Hill and Koromatin mountain which are area near the coast, which consist of the lands where
the Akyem and Fante resided, these two tribes are also consider as Akans Groups . The word Koromatin
is also referred as Memeda (Saturday), which refers to the disaster that was afflicted up the Ashanti
army by the Fante which was led by Osai Yao, According to Rev. Williams book entitled Hebraisms of
West Africa written in 1930 states, as a paraphrase. "There evidence about the Koromante that links to
the Akans people. The Koromante Hill is in the Fante land."
