TECHNICAL RIDER
PERFORMANCE CONDITIONS
It is agreed by the Promoter that this engagement is for a DJ
performance only. It is further understood by the Promoter that the
Artist will not perform live and that there may be no suggestion of a live
or vocal performance or mention of any ‘personal appearance’ (PA) in
any publicity materials pertaining to the performance hereunder. The
Artist is entitled to refuse to perform,receiving in full their contracted
fee where the Promoter has advertised the performance in
contravention of this clause. All publicity materials must sent for
approval to LUCKY BREAK not later than fourteen (14) days prior to the
performance date.

ADVERTISING & PROMOTION
Strictly no advertising of the Artist's performance is permitted until the
Promoter has signed the contract and where applicable the deposit has
been received. When advised by the Artist or his representative, the
Artist’s logo must be used on all promotional materials pertaining to this
performance.
ENDORSEMENT BY ASSOCIATION
The Promoter agrees that the name, likeness or logo of the Artist shall
not be used by any sponsor or be tied to any commercial product or
company, nor shall there by any sign, banner or advertising at or within
30 meters of the stage throughout the entire engagement. The Promoter
is specifically prohibited from associating the Artist’s name with any
product or sponsorship
or promotion whatsoever without the Artist’s prior approval and written
consent.
SECURITY
The Promoter shall guarantee proper security at all times to ensure the
safety of the Artist, auxiliary personnel, instruments and all equipment,
costumes and personal property during and after the performance.
Particular security must be provided in the areas of the stage, dressing
rooms and all exits and entrances to the auditorium and the remote
mixing console. Security
protection to commence upon the arrival of the Artist on the premises.
MERCHANDISE
The Artist reserves the sole and exclusive right to sell, or cause to be
sold, merchandise bearing the Artist’s name or likeness and the
Promoter agrees to provide a safe and suitable area for this purpose
inside the venue close to the main entrance, at no cost whatsoever to
the Artist.
PA & LIGHTS
The Promoter agrees to provide and pay for a first-class PA (Public
Address) System and a First Class Stage Lighting System as well as
experienced technician(s) as necessary for use by the Artist for the
duration of this Contract. The specifications for such PA and Lighting
GUEST LIST
The Artist reserves the right to admit up to twenty (20) guests free of
charge without prejudice to his fee. The Artist or their representative
may submit the names of such guests at any time before doors open.
FLIGHTS
The Promoter agrees to provide and pay for a maximum of ( 2 ) direct
return flight tickets. PRECISE TIMES ARE TO BE MUTUALLY AGREED
BETWEEN THE ARTIST’S REPRESENTATIVE AND PROMOTER, as will
arrangements for the Artist to receive
the tickets. Where any flight ticket is booked without the prior written
approval of the Artist, the Promoter will be liable for all costs incurred
due to any flight having to be cancelled, changed or re-booked.
EXCESS BAGGAGE
The Promoter agrees to pay the cost of any airfreight or excess baggage
charges incurred by the Artist in connection with the engagement
hereunder.
TRAVEL EXPENSES
The Promoter agrees to reimburse the artist for all expenses incurred in
travelling to and from this engagement upon presentation of relevant
receipts.
INTERNAL TRANSPORTATION
The Promoter agrees to provide and pay for all internal transport for the
Artist and his equipment throughout the duration of this contract and
from point of arrival in the country to hotel, between hotel/s and venue/s
and to point of departure from the country. Such transport must
comprise clean, comfortable, temperature-controlled vehicles with
professional drivers. Points of arrival and departure to be advised by the
Artist not later than fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date.
HOTELS
The Promoter agrees to provide and pay for the duration of this contract
4____ hotel accommodation inclusive of breakfast and providing for late
check-out for a maximum of ( 2 ) person/s in ( 1 ) double room/s, each
with bath/shower and toilet en-suite, within close proximity to the
venue. It is further agreed and understood that in the event that The
Artist does not require any hotels The Promoter has agreed to provide,
the Promoter will pay to The Artist the agreed cost of such hotel rooms
in cash pro rata.
ITINERARY
FORCE MAJEURE
The Artist reserves the right to decline to perform in the event of any
reason beyond the control of the Artist including, but not limited to,
illness, detention resulting from inability to obtain reasonable modes of
transportation, strike, lock out, war, fire, serious or dangerous weather
conditions, national calamity, Acts of God, Order of the Local and/or
National Government or
Local licensing or Health Authority, actual or threatened riots or civil
disorder or any reason including, but not limited to, faulty or insufficient
electrical power, inadequate or unsafe staging, inadequate crash
barrier, rain penetration or any other dangerous condition which, in the
opinion of the Artist, may result in damage to Artist’s equipment or
danger or injury to the Artist, any of the Artist’s staff, or any other
persons. In any such event, neither party hereto shall be entitled to
make any claim against the other party for non-fulfilment of any
outstanding obligations yet to be performed on the part of such other
party.
INSURANCE
The Promoter hereby warrants that he has taken out adequate insurance
covering claims for damage to the venue and its fixtures, furnishings and
fittings, Employer’s Liability and Public Liability insurance covering
claims by the Promoter’s staff or their families or by members of the
public or their families in the event of personal injury or death sustained
in connection with
this engagement, and insurance against all claims associated with the
cancellation of this performance subject to Force Majeure. In the event
of the Promoter having failed to effect such adequate insurance to cover

the liabilities arising under this clause, the Promoter shall be liable for
any such claims.
BINDER
It is a condition of this contract that should it not be signed and
returned to Lucky Break Promotions within fourteen (14) days of its issue,
subject to no written objections being made within that time period, the
terms documented in this contract shall constitute a binding agreement
between the parties.
