We have always taken the

I&m not sure e'actly what method Sandeep did to compile the (ava code and there are
multiple ways" however" I know it is possible to compile using the )clipse I*) setup
that is on the *evelopment +,.

This procedure assumes you are starting with an existing working ISO image of the
CloudFiler appliance that has een installed on either a !irtual or physical machine"

Step 1: Reset appliance back to pre-
configured state
1! Connect to the appliance C0I either through a console connection or ssh$putty
connection. 0ogin as user %root% with de#ault password o# %Cloud#1ler11-3%
-! Stop the mcdd#s service i# it is still running and ensure the mcdd#s #ilesystem is not
mounted. 2his can be done with the #ollowing commands at the prompt.

3! 5un the cleanall script

4) Restore the default configuration file

Step 2: Build ISO image with Remastersys
Run remasters!s using the +bac,up+ option to build an image that includes all the
necessar! soft-are and configuration.
remasters!s clean remasters!s bac,up cloudfiler&./0RS1234_.5$04.iso
$he process -ill ta,e up to 67 minutes to full! complete. 5fter successful
completion the resulting 1S2 image -ill be located in
/home/remasters!s/remasters!s. $his file should be copied using scp )or
pscp/-inscp) to an 8$P site or an S6 cloud buc,et for future do-nload.
