CHAPTER ONE- MORRIGANS THREE FORMS
The dark woodland scene grows to fill the screen as the
little silhouette of Morrigan walks into view.
Suddenly in the background there are flashes of a war to
come, Morrigan holds her head with each flash.
She rights herself before transforming into a crow and
flying towards the camera
In the wake of the falling feathers. The title 'Morrigan'
grows out of Celtic knots and fades away.
A stream flows in as the camera ZOOMS OUT to reveal the back
of an old woman (Morrigan). The sound of marching men heard
in the background.
Morrigan turns, revealing purely black eyes. ZOOM into the
blackness, with the sound of a crow shriek and rustling
feathers and the roars of men at war.
ZOOMING OUT of Morrigan's crow plumage reveals the dead
strewn across a battlefield and a slowly setting sun. She
watches as ghostly crows rise from the bodies and fly into
the sunset.
Morrigan takes off and the CAMERA TRACKS her as she flies
into the woodland. After weaving for a moment through the
wind and leaves, she drops in to land and turns into a
beautiful young lady. Continuing on foot.
CHAPTER TWO- MORRIGAN MEETS HER TRUE LOVE
The weather turns progressively colder and windier, and
Morrigan hugs herself to keep warm when a light somewhere
deeper in the forest catches her eye
Approaching the light, it is revealed to be the fire of a
travelling warrior. He catches sight of Morrigan and invites
her to sit by the fire.
She stays hidden for a moment before edging out of hiding to
warm her hands. Leaves fall OBSCURING CAMERA
Leaves continue falling, revealing a sapling tree growing to
full size and passing through the seasons. Summer, Autumn,
Winter. In the spring the warrior and Morrigan appear from
behind the tree clearly in love.

Suddenly the flashes of the future occur. Morrigan sees her
warrior get attacked and killed, a sword in his back.
CHAPTER 3- CALLED TO WAR
Rising from the distance is a small army of men. The warrior
makes to leave with them. Morrigan tugs his arm back. But he
seems to assure her before following after the small army
Picking up a shield and sword, the warrior jumps aboard a
horse drawn chariot and takes off
Morrigan stands in shock for a moment or two before
transforming into a crow and pursuing him. She flies over
hills following the chariot and other men.
The battlefield arises next to a river and woodland, the
enemy camp can be seen in the distance.
CHAPTER FOUR- TRYING TO SAVE HIM
Morrigan lands transforming into the old hag, so as not to
be recognized. She watches as her warrior puts down his
weaponry and see's an opportunity
Morrigan sneaks over stealing the weaponry and makes a break
for the nearby woodland. Not noticing shadows of men hidden
within.
The warrior chases Morrigan to reclaim his weapons when the
shadows jump out, revealing themselves to be enemy
barbarians and surrounding the warrior.
The enemies draw back their weapons, Morrigan shrieks
turning into a crow and flying away distraught. And the
noise of an axe coming down can be heard.
The scouts run away having been frightened by Morrigans
scream. The axe sits in the ground close to the warrior. He
sits up almost completely unharmed.
The warrior staggers away finding his way to a stream. He
sees an old woman holding his weapons and hears her crying
there

CHAPTER FIVE- THE WARRIOR DIES
Morrigan turns around and spots her warrior in perfect
health. She gets to her feet returning to her beautiful self
turning to address him properly.
The warrior steps back in shock. Behind him, to the horror
of Morrigan, appears an enemy barbarian who (like
Morrigan's premonition) puts his sword through the warriors
back.
Morrigan cries out and all turns to red. Morrigans earlier
premonitions replay with a vivid soundscape of war, yelling
and battle.
CHAPTER SIX- VALLEY OF THE DEAD
Morrigan kneels before her warriors body before raising her
arms.
In a WIDE SHOT ghostly crows rise from the dead and spiral
upward into the sky.
The last to materialize is the warriors crow which sits
staring at Morrigan for a short time.
Morrigan gently reaches for it, but the crow jumps back,
squawks and takes flight after the others that went before
him.
So Morrigan sits by the river, washing her warriors weapons
and uniform until she turns into the old hag. The seasons in
the forest changing around her as years pass
At the sound of approaching footsteps the old hag turns with
her black eyes and with a squawk, the crow takes flight.
