The importance of technology to our survival
The technology is in general the encounter between science and engineering. It can be a
simple tools and processes such as a glass to the more complex processes like a desalination of
sweater. Today, the technology is increasingly present in our life and it is accessible to all levels
of society. However, the use of technology becomes more important when it is used to save lives,
to do new scientific discoveries such as cure for a rare disease or when is possible robots can do
surgery with help from doctors, so we are dependent on technology we need it to live better.
It is know that the technology was fundamental in improving the conditions of life and
increase live expectancy. The are two centuries ago, people lived in average 35 years and many
died from diseases that are now controlled lie rabies. However today there many procedures and
diagnostics that help to control and discover symptoms the many health problems. For example,
