HARVARD REFERENCING
HARVARD REFERENCING QUICK GUIDE TO USING APPROPRIATELY

IN YOUR WORK:
Write the authors surname and the year of publication in brackets after the work that you have summarised in your own words (Anon, 2014).
If using a direct quotation you should use quotation marks and then reference appropriately: you should ensure that all the work that you are taking directly from
somewhere is placed in quotation marks this should only be one or two sentences (Anon, 2014).

IN YOUR BIBLIOGRAPHY:
ANY information that you have used throughout your coursework should be included in the format shown on the following pages
Your bibliography should be in ALPHABETICAL ORDER
You only need ONE list do not separate books, journals, television etc

REMEMBER.... Referencing in your coursework is essential Harvard referencing should be used throughout coursework in the correct format. Without referencing,
you will not be able to achieve the higher grades.
